Well I've kept hubby awake last two nights, due to my loud snoring. ;D Strangely enough I was given a snore hammer for Christmas to use on hubby, but he says he needs it to bop me! Maybe should sleep with it in middle of bed. ;D
So have decided for sake of a good night's sleep, I will go back to sleeping in separate room. We're both too exhausted to sleep in same bed. Ah well.

I have been told I snore too. Personally I don't believe it ;D
Not got a spare bed at the moment so got to put up with each other. If I can put up with the twitching he can put up with the snoring.

Spent last 2 nights at son's. I moaned I couldn't sleep because of his snoring & him mine. My asthma is driving me nuts, causes coughing fits at night & I apologised for keeping him awake. He never heard me cough, but he heard me snore. Really? ;)
Must make appointment with asthma nurse, sometime.

Is your sons house a new build. Could it be something to do with all the new carpets and furniture that's aggravating your asthma.
I always think it's a race to get to sleep. If I drop off first then I don't hear him snore but it's really the twitching that annoys me. We can be very peaceful and then it starts. Drives me mad.

Yes it's a new build, but coughing at home too. I've been offered tablets in the past, but was reluctant to use them, but maybe need to get it checked out properly.

Mum snores when she drops off in the chair and I can hear her down the corridor at night ::). When DH snores it doesn't usually bother me, a quick nudge in the rib cage sorts it ;)

I looked up blurb on asthma & snoring. Quite common. Coughing is a reflex action to open airways. So off to asthma nurse on Tuesday to get it checked. Constantly hoarse as well. Painting a really good picture aren't I. ;D Oh & my peak flow has dropped too, so doubled up on preventer. Whether or not this will stop the snoring I do not know.
What a wreck! ;)
-
Hoarseness is probably because you sleep with gob wide open ;)
My dog used to snore: I had her on one side of the room and DH on the other ;D

You paint such a pretty picture CLKD. :)

:thankyou: ........... trouble was, they never snored together so it was her/him/her/him :)
Me though - I talk and swear when asleep :-X

:). But I meant of CG asleep with her mouth wide open. :)

Need some lubrication. ;)

I reckon everybody snores at some time during their sleep - we just don't like to think about it! Hopefully we all have deep sleeping partners who never find out that we snore too ;D ;D

I've been told I do too, and I know I do as I have woke myself up doing it lol. However, it works both ways as my other half also does too, but his are proper snores, mine are like little gurgle type
So separate rooms it is at times which is fine for me, as I can lay diagonally across the bed, which I miss terribly lol

I would be very surprised if my snoring is as loud as hubby. He can be heard at opposite end of the house most nights.
I'm quite happy to sleep in separate rooms for sake of a remotely decent night's sleep.

My husband's snoring used to be so noisy but it's calmed down now that he has lost half a stone and also been diagnosed with COPD and uses an inhaler. I'm not sure that the COPD is connected but weight loss definitely is. He also has sleep apnoea and has got strips for that but doesn't use them.

Well my hubby was supposed to be dieting, but that lasted a week! Yes he needs to lose weight, at least 2 stones. He suffers from sleep apnoea too. But he ignores my concerns.
-
My hubby is tall and skinny and still snores. My daughter's room is in a loft conversion and she can hear him from there. ;D
Think it happens to all of us just men do it louder.

A few years ago my husband, a dreadful snorer who frequently woke my sons, had to go away for a few days. We looked forward to quiet nights but, guess what, the snoring continued albeit a bit quieter...... it was me!!
