Still cringing.......went to shops yesterday for some last minute things.....guy in bargain store burst out laughing when I asked if he had "durex" batteries...

Laughing he said do you mean "Duracell" ...... Omg  :-X  :-X

 Reminds me of my Grandma who was very hard of hearing- she worked in the mills and the noise damaged her hearing, anyway, she loved dark chocolate and liked to treat herself now and again. Her favourite was 'Hunts' chocolate- dont think they exist now Grandma went into her local corner shop and loudly asked " can I have some of the lovely C**ts chocolate please?" Oh, we were sooo embarassed! :-X

Phoned hairdresser and asked for cut and blow j*b instead of blow dry.  Devastated.  So embarrassed, may emigrate. Lol.
