Title: Leg cramps and oestrogel?
Post by: Suzyq on December 20, 2013, 07:05:27 PM
First week of using oestrogel and had quite bad cramps in my legs during the night. Did anybody else have this? If so, does it go away?

Thanks!

Have been on estrogel for 18 months and has been good for many of the meno symptoms I get cramps and muscle pain in my feet. Not sure if this is due to hrt or just me.

My hubby gets leg cramps too, so unless he's been stealing my estradot patches, it's not hormones.

My main one is foot cramps, don't get leg ones too often.

I always put the cramping down to being on feet too long, or wrong height of heel.

Hope it eases for you, as they're blooming painful.

Thank you both. I know it's listed as a side effect of estrogen, but was worried that I maybe would have to stop using!  Will carry on and stop stressing so much over every little thing.
