Ju Ju - wondered if you'd been able to give the Berlioz Te Deum a listen. Hope you enjoyed it!
Also, have you done your singing exam yet? Hope it goes/went well - best of luck!

Thank you, yes! Wonderful! My exam is on the 25th, where I shall queue up with children taking their exams! I am taking Grade 2, having started lessons a couple of years ago with no musical background at all other than the knowledge that deep inside I had a voice.

Absolutely, Ju Ju. Go for it!
All the best,

Hope it goes well.

Thanks. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hey Ju Ju
That's fantastic! It's lovely to hear of women taking up new interests later in life! I think I need one too (a new interest).
The best of luck for your exam!

Thank you! I hadn't intended taking exams, but I'm doing it as much for my teacher as me, plus it provides structure and motivation to practice. Also the exam is a challenge in itself. Exams and I have not got on very well. I won't tell you how many driving tests I took! :o

Ju Ju - This is going off at a bit of a tangent.
Since posting earlier, I mentioned to OH that there was somebody, on this forum that was doing the Grade 2 singing exam. Whereupon he says, "That's really good, how old is she?"
I thought he knew the approximate age range of ladies interested in MM sorts of things, but I may have been mistaken..............
He is very impressed with you taking the Grade II on however.

I shall be 60 next year! It is never too late to do something you really want to do.
