Aqua Manda Perfume
Cherry Liquor Chocolates
Geno 2.0 - Genographic Project Participation and DNA Ancestry Kit ( I already know I am getting this from OH) I participated in the first phase to
discover my ancient history through my DNA, now I will found out if I have Neanderthal blood, saw a programme last night saying scientists now know we interbred and assimilated them and did not kill them off, all so very interesting.
I am preparing a box of all my family and ancient DNA history to hand down through the family.

A new iPad air.
-
I really don't know this year. The past two years I have had a kindle which I love.
I am really trying to think of something that will let me play with it on Xmas morning ;D
Every time I say that my hubby looks very worried.

;D ;D HB
Littleminnie I forgot to add an iPad Air and maybe a MAC computer ;D
-
I fancy a new digital camera. Hubby bought one a while back, but it's way to heavy for me to handle properly. I currently have a compact one, which is good but pictures aren't as sharp as his. I've managed to find one that doesn't cost an arm & a leg.
-
Lie in (as if!!!) A nice peaceful day. Paul O Grady on Radio 2 whilst cooking & being able to play with the kids new lego etc instead of slaving over a hot stove, (we are going to do different food this year to make it less of a chore.) Maybe a bit of snow after lunch but not so bad it causes road chaos or accidents. The puppies due in a couple of weeks will be 5 weeks old by then so I hope there are not too many & they are exceptionally well behaved & maybe constipated just for that one day ;D Nice film in the evening & a glass of wine. :ange:
-
Honeybun - are you collecting kindles then? :)
-
One of those smart phones, where you can really access the internet.
-
Every time I say that my hubby looks very worried ........ mine would be delighted ;D
Peace and quiet
Warmth
Mum to behave >:(
Long range weather forecast which is correct ::)
This thread is far too early though :-\
-
A gorgeous meal cooked by various family members, as I'll have been playing for the Midnight and Christmas Day services (I really appreciate them doing this, as I can't be in two places at once), also in the company of my elderly Dad and our 16-year-old moggie; a peaceful day with no frayed tempers; beautiful music playing; a fantastic film or two; and presents?? I don't know, really - anything that's given with love and that makes me feel all warm and gooey inside, I suppose!
Oh, and no hot flushes - not a single one on Christmas Day, please!
-
"This thread is far too early though"
CLKD - I think you underestimate the amount of time some of us need before our hints make a blind bit of difference to our OHs
-
For C.mas lunch DH helps Mum cook 2 brace of pheasants with chipolatoas, onions, bacon: with roast/mash, sprouts, peas, gravey, bread sauce and stuffing. Well they do, I don't have sauce or stuffing. That leaves plenty of meat for the next couple of days with pickles then it's done with. When alone DH and I used to cook the C.mas pud for 12.30 and eat our main meal of pheasant or duck or goose in the evening.
We always take a large lump of beef to his brother's for Boxing Day, we buy it they cook it with the veg.. It's all the extra food stuffs that puts me off C.mas :-X
I don't hint to anyone these days, I say it like it is! after all, it doesn't suddenly appear, it's 13 months already before the next one ::)
-
My OH likes my list well in advance and I like his too, so I can order on the internet and make sure they arrive in time.
Usually with my list I just can't think what I want and OH tends to leave it to the last minute and just grabs anything for me, this years I decided to be organised hence the "thread" and also this year I knew what I wanted :)
My geno kit is coming from America so takes a while.
-
His brother was awful about buying gifts for me and his choice of cards ain't suitable even now so I developed a list in about, oh, mid-1990s! it's when he asks at a later date 'what did you think of the gift?' that makes me even more annoyed >:(. You've given me something, bothered to wrap it and you want to know what????? usually by then I can't remember what he gave me anyway ::)
DH loves to shop for me, usually we go out together to buy but he likes to whizz round: apparently :-\
-
I am asking my family for contributions towards an I-pad. I have a very big birthday next March, so with Christmas, I may have enough to buy one. It will mean I can Face Time my son and his wife. Skype is rubbish around here. We tend to talk on the phone, but I would love to see their faces.
-
Our Christmas will be at son & GFs. Daughter, her partner & kids coming up too. Starters are to be nibbles of pate, bread, smoked salmon. They are cooking mains & I'm making 2 desserts.
Really looking forward to it.
Son & daughter keep asking what I want, but haven't a clue. Camera would be from hubby. Need to get thinking cap on.
-
What I meant was I think he thinks he is to come up with an idea on his own. ;D
I don't have two kindles...I got the HD one last Xmas and sold my old one. Don't think that the new one does much different so don't want to trade up again.
I just want one thing, problem is I can't think what that one thing is. :-\
Xmas dinner for us will be a relaxed affair. Visiting will be done before hand so just the four of us for dinner. Bliss after years and years of slaving for relatives. A few years ago I refused, it caused a lot of trouble at the time and things are still awkward but I have stuck to my guns and now get to do it my way.
Still can't think of the perfect prezzie though.

Neither can I. I don't actually want/need anything.

No, but it's nice to get something. If I leave it to hubby I will get perfume, maybe a jumper, slippers and candles. All lovely but not what I really want.

I'd like not to be alone this year... and for something good to happen...
-
I'd like an indoor barometer please Father Christmas.
-
Some new friends would be nice. Not that there is anything wrong with my old friends but it would be nice to have some new blood and ideas in the mix of my life.
Apart from that, some perfume, scented candles, chocolate.............Lulu face cream.
Bramble
-
There's a really good restaurant in the Oxford - (ish) area I have always wanted to go to.
Definitely not at Christmas, way too busy, also would need to arrange accommodation.
However another time would be good.................
The hints have been dropped
-
The hints have been dropped - is it that place with a French name, very very pricey ??? ....... with the Very Handsome Chef ;)
I've had my first C.mas packages today - not opened though (yet) ;)
-
Friend has just knocked on the door, they have just got back from Turkey and have brought me back some genuine Turkish Delight (Lokum) the question is can I resist opening it or save it for Christmas, I have already for some in from Waitrose for Christmas , on the top shelf in the kitchen so I can't reach it, but its not like the yummy stuff they have brought.
Turkish Delight and a good cup of coffee :P one for the "What soothes your soul" thread I think :)
-
Nothing in particular. Not very keen on Xmas. We always have a turkey lunch with all the trimmings and its just a nice peaceful day. Its usually us 3 plus son and my Mum comes for a few days.
I often say I'd like to go away for Xmas but I've given up mentioning it now as it falls on deaf ears.
-
To know that our friend and his new girlfriend, currently missing in Bohol, Phillipines, are safe, hopefully their young puppy too :-\
-
The hints have been dropped - is it that place with a French name, very very pricey ??? ....... with the Very Handsome Chef ;)
That's the one!
It IS very very pricey, but it will only be the once, and will be oodles of presents for time immemorial.
Christmas, Birthday and anything else that warrants a present. :-\
We got out of the habit of giving each other presents when we gave up work, so perhaps it could also count as backdated presents for those years..........
-
How about hiring the whole place... only £67,500!! Mind you there is a minimum spend of £32k!
Taz ;D
-
That is probably a step too far Taz.......... ::)
Funnily enough.
OH had asked yesterday, did I really want to go?
How could I say yes?
It costs so ---ing much
Ah well, dreams were made of this..........
-
Afternoon Tea at the Ritz then? although you won't get the Handsome French Chef there ;)
-
Hmm - It might be his cousin...... 8)
-
I really want to be well on Christmas day (after op) and to get a Mac laptop. Don't think that's on the cards as op will cost an arm and a leg :'( my future so-in-law swears by Mac. Oh some mac make-up would be lovely too (seems like a theme going on here) but def know my daughter is buying me a plane ticket to visit other daughter in Melbourne, for end of Jan :)
It will probably be hot so it's bbq and salads. TV crap here in Oz so everyone spends time outside in/out pool. Son coming from Sydney with partner on Boxing Day. My dream would be to answer door and find my 2 kids from Ireland plus 4 grandkids, standing there! However, just hope that everyone is well and that will be great.
-
We have used Apples since they were invented. Never have hacking, some spam but otherwise ......... they aren't targetted like PCs can be ;)
-
I envy anyone who has a MAC computer, the nearest I get is stroking one at PC world ::)
-
A new music system would be nice. Huge hints have been dropped.
Hand cream - I seem to get through loads of it this time of year.
A couple of candles, although i'm a fussy b*gger when it comes to those.
Books or Kindle vouchers always go down well.
I do like a surprise though.
-
Hurray sorted out OH's Christmas present, have been wracking my brains what to get him, I know he likes techy gadgets so have got him a
Digital Weather Station Clock and Barometer , that will keep him occupied over Christmas working out how to use it.
Now it will be just bits and pieces to get :)
-
I've given Santa my list. Even told him cheapest place to get camera I want. Now isn't that thoughtful of me. Just proving how good a girl I am. Stop tittering. ;D
-
Next step is to buy it yourself and hand it to him ;D
I still can't think what I want. Having a total blank this year.

-
;D Sure he'd love me to do that, but he's not getting off that easy.
-
Well, my stuff has arrived. ;D However, I always give him a choice of colour etc, so it will still be a surprise. ::)
-
I just want to safe arrival of my new grandson
BUT wish the name was different Ezeichial !!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean come on????/ So its to be Zeke
Why not Peter or Paul or Jacob but bloody Eziechail
MInd Bobbles said if hey called it S.. on a stick youd still love it hehehehe
HOW TRUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE xxxxxxxxxxxxx
-
I've already got it, sort of.
I've got a Samsung S3, what I want for Christmas, is to find out how to use it. ::)
OH wants a radio helicopter with a camera built in so's he can check on what the rabbits are destroying outside.
-
1 month TODAY :D
-
Oh Suzi not much you can do about the name. Maybe when he arrives they'll change their minds. My first grandchild's name changed once she was born. You'll love him no matter what.
-
Cuba thats what Bobbles says Ezeachial I cant even bloody spell it hehehehe
Its fixed set in stone hope when she see it its a Josh or Nathaniel ?
BUT ZEC OH well NANA will call him BOO BOO hehehehe
-
Sounds very biblical. I'm all for traditional names though. Not Apple, Fifi-triabelle or Hero. Yeh they're unique, but aren't we all. :)
-
Spell it Suzi, can't even think how to pronouce it ;D
I would like to sleep from C.mas Eve until 2 January :-\ ...... cuddled up, peaceful .......... am looking forwards to putting up our new decs outside though ;)
-
Must be something about Australia, we have a Cosmo 8) he is a dear little boy, his mum is half Greek.
-
What decs have you bought CLKD? I've bought a tree for outside last year. I love it.
-
We have an apple, a holly and a curly hazelnut in our front garden. The holly and apple get decorated: I bought some large snowflake and star shapes in silver ........... plus the coloured balls from other years ......... there are lights draped through the hazelnut 8)
-
Being quite behind everyone else technically I have asked Santa for a Kindle this year :)
-
I just love my kindle. It's just the best. I did consider upgrading this year but the new one does not do much more than the one I have got now....hence I don't really know what I want and I am driving hubby up the wall ::)
I can always think of stuff for him but he can never think of anything for me.

Well I bought hubby a satnav for his Christmas, he knows I've got him something which is a surprise. Other day I nearly fell off the bed, I was sitting on it at the time, when he said `I know what I'd like for Christmas - an IPad Air.' Talk about flooring me. Last year it was a tripod for his camera, but it's not seen daylight since.
I've got old Kindle, but now have downloaded Kindle onto my tablet which is better to read at night, though a tad heavy.
-
I want an iPad Air.
-
I want one too :)
-
Hopefully he'll share. ;D
-
Or, you could buy me one too. :)
-
Hubby and I don't want anything really. Well, I mean we dont want the 3 boys to get us anything as they don't have the money and it would just be buying for buyings sake. We have spent a bit lately on things for the house which we don't often do so that will do for us. Maybe a small present to each other say up to £20, just for something to open.
Ariadne xx
-
That's lovely ariadne. I wish we could cut it right back and not make it so much about stuff.
I think that's why I am struggling to think of what I would like. I don't actually need anything.
We are feeling the pinch like a lot of people. One of our kids is unemployed and one is a student and they have no money so little thoughtful stuff is the order of the day.
My mum has every thing she could need so my hubby is painting her a picture which he will frame.
Unfortunately the rest of the extended family need buying for and its not the thought that counts there :-\

Actually I've just thought of something expensive hubby would like. A friend mentioned that she bought her husband a Train Driving Experience for his 60th birthday. When I told my husband he said he would have loved that as he does have a fondness for railways. I'll save that one up for another special birthday ;)

Dear Santa -
I want two sons-in-law please.
If a problem with delivery I would be happy with one this year and another one next Christmas.
Thank you,

-
I've decided this is what I want for Christmas
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrqTREj8OtU :-* :-*
and an ipad Air
-
What a time waster! Looks slightly scared all the while though :-\ .......... wonder what breed. Of course, I know how to go back to play the other clips ;D
-
I have no idea what I want (materially) for Christmas, and my lovely MIL keeps asking!!
All I really want is stuff I can't have - Mum back to the happy, healthy, capable woman she used to be, and both our Dads back from the great camp-site in the sky.
-
I have my new Ipad up and running, it had a case with a Bluetooth keyboard combined.
Now I have iphone, kindle Fire and Ipad to charge every day and sync on the computer :o what on earth did I do before all this technology ;D oh I forgot I have an old keyboard black and white kindle too.
Just had an awful thought, power cuts!
OH says one of my Christmas presents is some glossy magazines, will probably enjoy those the most :)
-
Silverlady - activate your 'Cloud' on the iPhone and iPad and they will sync automatically every time they are connected to the same wifi network without having to do it via the computer (you can put the Cloud on your computer, so things like contacts, music and photos will sync with it too). Once it's set up, you can virtually forget about it.
-
My husband and mother to be well again......
-
Will do Scampi. ;) have icloud with ITunes.
-
Aw Greyhoundgal, more than anything you will be wishing for that. Hope you get your wish! :bighug:
-
I'm the same Silverlady. iPhone, IPad and IPod.
-
Need more Biros around this house, can never find one when it's required ;D
-
My list is : 'Dust' by Patricia Cornwell, 'War of the Roses' by Conn iglodeggnnnnnnnn - hey I dont know how to even pronounce his name let alone spell it! Rose bubble bath from Marksies, a decorated kitchen, bedroom, dining room, new carpets and a holiday . Hoewever, I'll be happy withthe first three!
Oh, and a new three peice suite. ;D
-
Had it yesterday - a night away and a really nice meal.
-
I want a Spaniel puppy with long floppy ears & a red bow around her neck, alas, I dont think that Santa will be able to oblige, we already have a houseful :) but it would be lovely.....
-
a houseful of what exactly?
A pet should NEVER be given for C.mas ;)
I would like Peace and Quiet ::)
-
I don't see why you can't have a pet for Xmas. It depends on what kind of home it goes to but if it's to a good one then it does not matter what time of year it is.
It's quite difficult to get a pedigree pet at this time of year as breeders don't generally sell them.
Honeyb
x
-
A good breeder won't give the animal over until New Year. They don't want to run the risk of something they have put love and attention plus money into, ending up in rescue ......... have a look on any of the rescue sites and you'll see what I mean. Some rescue centres won't rehome between the middle of Dec and Jan., they may well approve but the new 'owner' won't take delivery until after the fuss is over.
I would love to know I will never have a panic attack again .......
-
There are good breeders but there also puppy farms, don't know how scrupulous they are as to when they sell.
-
Oh bollocks, I have a houseful of dogs, CLKD, they come from all walks of life, rescue centres as well and they stay and live a life of luxury until they go to doggy heaven, we call them our fur children. I am hardly 8 years old anymore and see no reason in not getting a puppy from Santa if that is what I ask for, it will be on my wish list perhaps for my 60th Xmas if I get there hehe! As I said, cannot take on another doggy at this stage but in time to come, that is what I would love :)
-
Would love a dog but not sure how the two cats would take it! Would settle for an iPad Air if not but unless a Christmas miracle occurs I don't think that's very like either. Will have to settle for the usual oven gloves or ironing board cover!! ;D
Sal x
-
Ooh some surprises for me under the tree. ;D
-
Sal, you are so easy to please. I want a iPad air too. I have hinted.
-
Ooh LM do you think Santa might deliver?!!! Will let you know! ;)
-
I'm sulking, can you tell. :-\
Pressies under tree not surprises after all, just what I've asked for. I got him loads of surprises as he moaned a few years back at getting none. Maybe, just maybe........ ::)
-
Have been examining them CG? How old are you. Lol. X
-
I would like someone to give me tickets for a holiday. It won't happen in a million years but that's what I'd like. My hubby doesn't do surprises. I always choose a surprise for his birthday and Xmas and he always asks me what I'd like and nine times out of ten I go and buy it too. ::)
-
I got my kindle and have to say I'm really liking it :) I was a bit concerned as I love books, the weight and feel of them but this is fast changing my mind.
-
Kindle are great for holidays abroad, for taking on day trips etc. but give me a proper book every time ;) in fact, DH and I 'did well' for books this year ::)
-
I really like my Kindle, I have loads of books on it, including many of the classics, which are free.
But, the local library is under threat, so I still go there on a regular basis.
It's hard all this reading, but somebody has to do it ::)
-
I got slippers which I requested. Knitting books and magazines, posh hot water bottle, earrings, gorgeous mug, book and a few more bits.
-
I love my kindle and I was a big library user too. I use the library now for cookery books but read every thing else on my Kindle. I use it as a tablet and have to say it's fast and efficient.
There are loads of free books to read and old classics that I have nit read for years.

I knew what hubby was getting me anyway LM, but usually get a surprise too. I did, got a voucher for some pampering. :) He also got me some aromatherapy oils.
Kids gave us Cineworld vouchers plus a few little extras.

Next year I would like: ?
Less anxiety ....... more sunshine ........ long walks on the beach ......

I am so in love with my laptop ;D I can rest up and my day is filled going on this forum, hystersisters, Facebook and Youtube! I also have a kindle which I love but buy the books I know I'll want to keep. My house was coming down with books so had good old clean out and now I'm left with the ones I love. Kindles are great for immediate access to the latest books and I still consult Richard and Judy's Book Club. I used to love that programme when I lived in UK :(

I wouldn't mind Tom Hardy for Xmas...🤪 don't think he'd like me tho! 🧟♀️ 😆

Who ?
Looking at the BBC News now - an elderly person has spent the last 20 Ch.mas time alone. Now people are rallying round so that he goes out for a meal, some Muslim students have delivered and decorated him a tree ......... how many who would like to celebrate Festivities are afraid of 'being a nuisance', thinking it is a family holiday?

A wildlife park has been inundated after putting out an appeal for "chipmunk worthy socks" to help keep the rodents warm over Christmas.
The family of chipmunks at Longleat Safari Park, in Wiltshire, use the socks to nest in during the winter.
Following an appeal on Facebook, the park has received hundreds of pairs from as far afield as New Zealand.
Longleat's Alexa Maultby said: "There's now a sock mountain and we're looking for other uses for them." [they don't require any more ;)]

;D Just having a laugh

About the chipmunks :D

No,about your implants,thought you meant a boob job ;D

I don't believe in breast implants ......... ;) though some breasts need reduction as they can impact on back posture and cause pain .......

You causing trouble again Jaypo....😆
Whose got implants?
Are they big, medium sized?
How long have they had them for?
Did it hurt having it done?
Come on! We need answers! 😆

There is nothing I need or want. Hubby is the same so we have decided not to exchange gifts, same as last year.
Ohh I find that sad, even if there is nothing you need you could still get something like a really nice bottle of wine or chocolates, just something as a token even a silly present each with a set low price.
I always have new slippers, the ones I'm wearing now are ready for the bin but I have to wait a few more days, there is nothing stopping me buying a pair myself but they are so comfy to wear new on Christmas Day :)
-
That's what we say Two Hoots....only my ‘ just token' is a bottle of Dior perfume! 🤣😂
-
Over the last few years DH and I just buy each other token gifts to open on Christmas Day morning.
It just wouldn't be the same without gifts to exchange as it's just the two of us early on Christmas morning. It tends to be books, slippers, chocolates etc.
But we do spend money at other times of the year recently DH bought me a very expensive ring I didn't need it nor did I ask for it and never would just saw it in the shop window and couldn't help saying how beautiful it was and the next thing we were in the shop buying it. Guestures like that mean so much to me.
When in Lanzarote recently he bought me some very expensive perfume and at the airport on the way home he bought me more perfume for work but it was at a very reduced price.

it's not sad at all. We both agree that we don't want or need anything. I barely drink and am trying to lose weight so am avoiding chocolate. So both those ideas are out.
We buy each other things throughout the year. He bought me a brand new car in September and beautiful earrings on holiday in June. i bought him some designer T shirts on hols in Sept and I very often buy him a bottle of rum or whisky when I see a good deal on.

We buy each other things all year ;)
I have to be careful when I say "Oh I like that!" or in a whisk, were in the shop and it's on my finger ;D

My OH the same clkd,I'm always saying Oh,isn't that lovely and he's like........I'll get it for you then, noooooooo,I'm just commenting,I love him for it though
-
It's what he thinks I would like, occasionally :-X ........ we cut out the knicker idea a few years back 'cos they simply were not comfy :D
I also try to buy gifts throughout the year so as not to back myself into a corner nearer the time. Whereas his brother leaves it all until the week B4 and then asks what I think DH would like >:(
I would like a view ;)
-
Have you decided if you are going to get yourselves a view?
-
Not yet. Too much stuff to move ;D. But I have found several in Northumberland :D
-
We buy each other things all year ;)
I have to be careful when I say "Oh I like that!" or in a whisk, were in the shop and it's on my finger ;D
Just as well that doesn't work for OH. Oh I like that sheep...
-
;D ;D ;D ;D
-
sheila99 ;D - surely a couple more won't hurt ;)
-
Wouldn't notice a couple more. I expect I'll be wearing a few up to the wrist soon when we start lambing. 🐑🐑👆
-
Lovely thought for the day sheila ;D
-
-
 will that B B4 C.mas sheila99, I see that Adam has lambs already .......
-
Funny how we think about things. I have no problem at all putting my hand up a sheep but the thought of holding Prof whatsit's (the one who thought hrt was an addiction) testicles to castrate him 😯 Why can't I find the vomit icon? Definitely need the marigolds for that one.
-
:sick02: or :beaurk: ;D
I'll hold him ......... at least a vagina is warm? With a Good Result ;)
-
CLKD - some stupid menopausal old bat has caused me load of work. Seems someone castrated all the tup lambs... except one... which has been out with the Dorset's which can lamb at any time of year. So when the tups went out with the early lambers... it seems 25 of them were already in lamb. Brought 7 home today which look as though they'll lamb in the next few days. So this year's lambing will last from tomorrow til May. Grrr🤐
-
Oh No! Not 'that strange woman in your fields' ? :D
Would you like some help ............. ???
-
Yes! Somebody with a functioning brain when they're castrated ;D Though that might be a mistake I'm careful not to make again! Last time we had Xmas lambs it was when we first got Dorsets and OH hadn't worked out the tups had to be removed earlier than for 'normal' ewes. One all.
-
How will that be sold, "Spring" or "Easter" lamb ?
-
Will probably keep the ewe lambs as they'll be well enough grown to lamb themselves next year. Wethers will be ready May/June when prices are still high but we haven't had to spend a fortune on corn to get them ready for Easter.
-
How lovely. As long as it doesn't snow, they can gamble :-*
A llama would be nice ;)
-
Aaaw, lambs for xmas. I'd love to have one in my house (for a week) :bounci:
I'm not soppy Sheila99, I do know they are food ... although I don't eat lamb. They just look so cuddly.
-
No anxiety :'(
-
Aww still not good clkd?
-
My hair to grow back, thats all i want for Christmas ;D
-
Lots to do this week so anxiety is up and down >:(. Keep pushing on ........
Hair - or jaycee I wish I could help. :-\
-
Have you ever tried regaine Jaycee?when I worked in the pharmacy this woman swore by it,expensive mind you :-\
Clkd,I'm running around like a headless chicken at the moment, every year it is the same, has daughter got everything she needs, what needs to go in cases, what do we need to keep out for the hotel, tops to go with bottoms, bags to go with outfits shoes to match aaaaaaarggghhhhhhhh so I want someone to do it all for me for Xmas
-
I'll be there with a long list ;D
I have in my head clothes that I might need for C.mas plus extra in case of snow ;)
As laundry gets dry it will go into the case to be sorted on 23rd.
-
Oh yes,my just in case clothes too nooooooooooooooooooo ;D
-
Of course: after all these Cruises: I think that's the word :D ? : you ought to have packing down to a Fine Art ;D. No extras required, every item of clothing mixed and matched appropriately?
-
Eehhhhh nope ;D
-
-
Thing is OH........suit and shirts, polo shirts and jeans me? Dresses, skirts, tops, fancy dresses, shoes to match skirts, bags to match shoes, walking shoes, jeans in case it's cold, shoes to go with jeans, jacket in case it's cold, cardy if it's not cold, clothes for sea days oh for the love of god,I'd could go on for ever with this post 🥵🥵🥵
-
Best thing about cruising is no limit to how much luggage you can take ;D worst thing about a cruise is no limit on how much luggage you can take ::)
-
;D ;D ;D Never a truer word spoken TH we've two big suitcases a big suit carrier and a hold all and every time when the people come to collect the cases from the car I'm always apologising as I see the veins on the porter's head pop up :D
-
Empty wardrobe into suitcases? Try to leave the kitchen sink behind... Where does the cruise go to?
-
What would you do if you went Round the World  ......... I know someone would out buy new for her cruises until she realised that she was unlikely to meet the others once the trip had finished :D
-
My wardrobe is practically empty by the time I'm finished, then I pack and unpack about 25 times before I'm happy ;D
We arrive in the canaries on 26th then Madeira for Hogmanay and stop in Portugal on the way home
-
That'll be 3 items then ? ;)
-
Couple of zeros on the end is more like it :D
-
Sounds lovely jaypo. Are you sure you can't fit me in your suitcase too? ;D Have a lovely time.
Triplets born at 5am this morning. They're so cute, I never get tired of lambs. Pity ewes only have 2 teats, she won't have enough milk when they get a big bigger. 🐑🐑🐑
-
Oh me me me,I'll take one :)
-
Already :-*. - you were on hand? We see 1 5.00 and it ain't the morning one ;)
-
Nooooooo Jaypo.
Me, me, me. I'll take one.
Hands off Jaypo, I got first dibs.
-
Oh a new lamb at the bottom of the bed, once cleaned of course ;). Though it might suck my toes when hungry ???
-
;D no sheila,me,pants has a funny name, dodgey geezer if you ask me ;D
-
Says the woman with poo in her name 🤣
It's mine. I'll give it a warm bath, with conditioner, to make it all soft. Then tuck it up in my superking size bed, all snuggly, wrapped in blankets. Then play it classical musical, until it falls asleep.
And I'd call it ... Samantha.
-
R we talking about a lamb :-\ :D
-
I know a dodgy geezer ....😂🤣
-
Shut it Jill😂🤣
Pants!!!! My name has no poo in it,half a poo yes but not a whole one ;D ;D
-
No scrapping now ladies, there'll be enough for one each :) Not sure mum would approve though. Stated lambing at 7pm, I gave up waiting at 1am and went to bed, OH did the 5am shift. Lucky he woke up, the first one had a leg back and head swelling up. I made at 7 to warm them up & give the 2 smaller ones some colostrum. I ain't a morning person :(
-
Wow,don't envy the early hours Sheila, not in the cold at least
-
Yeah, Sheila, you are a real trouper. They don't make them like you any more.
Up at 7am feeding lambs ... and you say you're not a morning person ... wowzer.
-
Charming that is....😂 😂
That's Jay out then. No early mornings for her...😉
I'm obviously the best choice for one, don't really know what that is, but I am...🤣😂
-

Lols .. Two Hoots .. there's only 2 of them 😁
-
So far ........ ;D
-
Aaah, yes. You make a good point.
-
sheila - any more C.mas/New Years lambkins or have the ewes stopped?
-
Twins 5 mins before Xmas day, another 2 sets of twins Xmas evening. At least they avoided dinner time :). Twins 2 days ago, one very small which has died. Twins again today which are doing well. 18 to go...
-
You must be shattered!
-
Did U C C.mas?
As long as most are healthy ;)
-
Still an average of 2 each - pity I can't put a triplet on that ewe, it would save me feeding them. There are always some that are never going to live. Nothing I can do about those ones, just as long I'm there for the ones that I can save.
-
All arrived by now sheila99?
-
Ask me again at the end of May :-\ 'mistakes' - Dec - Feb, early lambers (the few that aren't mistakes) - March, main flock - April, first timers - May, June - sleep. 10 left from this lot, 4 lambed yesterday. Went out for the midnight check and triplet feed to find 2 lambing, bed at 1:30am. Zzzzzz.
-
>tiptoes in quietly< - thanks for the update >tiptoes out<
Wish I lived closer ::)
-
I can send you a few... :bounci:
-
Ohhhh .......... they grow into sheep though ;D and I don't like mutton or lamb on the table ::)
