Bit scared! My GP rang before to ask me to come in this afternoon. I had another histerioscope- well, whatever they call it and a biopsy lasy week for post menopausal bleeding again. was over in a very short time and off I went- via a shoe shop I might add. Anyway, this call was a bit of a shock- so fingers crossed will be OK.

What ever it is going to be you can't alter it. Perhaps nothing, maybe GP has result sooner than expected, perhaps GP is away to his holidays and wants to get issues sorted ......... let us know :foryou:

Hope all has gone well, Valiant. I had phone call from Doc too and you can read on my new post what's happening to me. Please let us know as you won't be alone no matter what. I'm sure things are okay with you and will watch out for your reply.

I had some tests a couple of weeks ago. A week later the doctor phoned while I was out, he left a message asking me to phone him.....I only saw the message later that evening ,so it was too late to phone......I spent a very sleepless night convinced it must be bad news. I thought surely if it was good results he would have told me.
When I phoned the next day, he told me the results where clear, and he said they were not allowed to leave a message with results, whatever they are......

Hope all is ok.

Thank you ladies, I just need a small op to remove more polyps as they are a little concerned about them, at moment they are begnin but the concern is they keep reappearing. So Monday going to have it done. GP said not to worry it was just to monitor them. I feel OK and no too worried as they seem to be on the ball with things. Honest if it's not one thing its another!
Many thanks to all of you. xxx :tulips2:

Fingers crossed for Monday!

Hope it goes well. Have you got to stay in overnight or is it being done as a day case? Please tell your GP not to scare you like that again!!

Hopefully the biopsies will be sent for histology. At least you are getting follow up treatment without needing to wait for too long! :foryou:

Oh Valiant, I can understand about it being one more thing! I am actually embarrassed to tell friends and family about my latest saga but thank god for this forum. nobody puts you down and you get all the advice and support you need. Good luck for Monday!

Oh yes, Its a lovely dress, an 'Eliza J' dress - 3/4 sleeves, below knee, full skirt. I ordered it through internet so fingers crossed it'll look nice on me. Getting excited now.I will also be a new woman too!!!!
-
Oh good! It's important to feel good no matter what and I am sure you will look beautiful :) I have been getting new nightwear for my hospital stay which isn't the same thing but still, a woman has to feel good even in pain! Clothes are my thing, my way of expressing who I am. I usually shop in Second hand places as you can get some really different clothes. We have great designer markets here. Sometimes I wear a floaty floral dress with Doc martins! Just to 'tough it all up' :)

Valiant Im so glad your better and the operations over xxxxxxxx
Now the wedding huge hugs Suzi Q xxxxxxxxxx :-* :-* :-*

Thank you. Gosh tried my dress on, hmm, everyone likes it but i feel a bit odd in it. Its a 'work in progress'. I looked so like my Mum when I looked in the mirror it was quite a shock. Its nice to know she's still around...
It's not long to go now, booked my hair appointment, growing it at the moment.I am getting very excited now.

Just a quick tip, Valiant, get underwear that pulls you in and tightens things up. Posh spice does it as it gives a great shape under a dress. i am only 48 kilos and I wear one for those occasions when I want to look good and they do work. Well worth the money. Hope you have a great day!

Hi Rose, sorry Its' been a while- stuff at home and all that. I tried my lovely dress on- husband said I looked like "the side of a bus". I sent it back. Ive ordered another lets hope it looks OK. I will be taking your advice and investing in some tuck it in underwear.
Cant believe I've put so much weight on!
Will let you know what I look like when the dress arrives.xx

Hope your hubby likes new dress with your new underwear.
I'm dreadful with those hold it all in pants. DD persuaded me to get some spanx for under a clingy dress & yes I looked fab but haven't put them on since. I start getting all panicky, don't laugh, at being so sucked in. I can breathe fine, but somehow my brain doesn't send that message to body. ;D
