Title: HRT associated breast pain and risk of Ca breast?
Post by: Badga on September 04, 2013, 11:11:23 AM
I am back at clinic in a couple of weeks - thank goodness.  I really want to come off my current therapy - Estradot 50ug and Utrogestan (oral) 100mg.  I am postmenopausal with a uterus.

My current regimen (I think mainly the progesterone component) gives me sausage fingers, tree trunk legs, burning feet, fibromyalgia and boobs like melons!  However, I have been recently about a possible link with HRT associated 'breast tenderness' (never any mention of the increase in size!) and risk of cancer.

Has anyone on here read about this?

Most packets of HRT site cancer as a possibility.  We have to weigh up the pros and cons.  Have you read the menus, left of screen?  Do you have close family members with a history of breast cancer?
