Hello carrielee.
I started HRT three months ago and still get periods of intense itching although it was much worse and affected more of my body before HRT. All I do to ease it is moisturise, seems to help.

Hello Carrielee

I started on Elleste Solo along side the mirena coil and 2 days in, the most horrible itching began. It was all over my body, but there was no rash. I was swapped to Climaval and the same thing happened. Itching was listed as a potential side effect of these pills...I am now using Oestrogen gel which so far has been ok - no itching. I seem to remember my GP thought it may be because your body has to first of all metabolise the oral pills whereas the gel is absorbed into your bloodstream.... I think!  :-\

Hope you find something that suits you. :)
