OK I know I'm a bit late to these, just bought my first pair in olive green. Why did I wait so long? Haven't a Scooby , but you can be sure I will be buying more. Ordinary leggings aren't warm enough in the winter. They sure will be handy when I head off to DD's later in the year. Means I can pack more in my suitcase. ;D

They are great. Long jumper and some boots and hey presto you are sorted. It took a bit of convincing by my daughter to get me into them but I am a convert.

Hard to get on though aren't they. :-\

Not if you buy stretchy!!!
-
I thought they were all stretchy ie that is the nature of the beast - jeans-leggings ie very stretchy jeans! I haven't had any yet either as I wear either leggings or stretch jeans (which are warm in winter)!

I haven't been able to find any short enough :(

Tuck them into boots and it does not matter if they are a bit long.

They just seemed too long altogether - like the body part was too long as well. Why do they make petite sizes to fit 5ft 3?? That's already five inches too high for me.

ah, taz you sound like a little dot, always pictured you as tall and slender, strange how you mind makes a picture isn't it.

Oh Taz, must be a nightmare finding stuff suitable. Some places do extra short, but not I fear, jeggings. You must be a dab hand at turning up hems. I used to have to chop a good few inches off trousers before petites came in. I am 5ft 3in so it's not as hard for me now.

I was desperate for some jeans following my op and failed miserably, until I found some canvas/denim like jogging s at ASDA and I love them
-
Maybe linen babypink. Though I did have visions of days of yore when you said canvas. Great you've found something comfortable.

ASDA denim jeggings are the best, they are a dark blackish blue and look very smart, but comfortable.
