Title: oestrogel
Post by: lancashirelass on July 01, 2013, 11:38:46 AM
I have been using oestrogel for around five months now.  I have noticed the next day when I shower that I always have a film on my skin.  I'm wondering if this is why I'm having fluctuations.

Does anybody else use it and experience this?

Sorry can't help because I have never used it but perhaps patches may well deliver a more constant dose.
They are not as easy to tweak the amount you get but they might help keep you on an even keel.

There are a good few ladies use the gel so hopefully someone will be along soon that can help.

I used to use oestrogel, but can't say I noticed any residue or fluctuations. Are you sure you are rubbing it in enough when you apply it.

I was allergic to estraderm so not keen on patches.  I had been told previously not to rub in compeltely but am wondering if I  am doing it right now.

I rubbed in mine as far as I could but arms were still sticky to touch.  Guess it maybe depends on how much you are using. I was using 1 pump per arm, per night.
