Remember the perfumes, the shampoos, cosmetics, etc. and the fantastic feel of those times, the eighties weren't bad either :D

Ah the 70's, my favourite decade! My daughter cannot figure out why! I say you had to be there! :)

I loved the seventies too but I don't think it had anything to do with the actual decade. I reckon that a lot of people look back on the time between around 15 and 25 as "their" decade. I was 16 in 1971 and for me and my friends it was the sense of the whole future being open to us with so many possibilities, that, and the sudden discovery of the sexual power we had over the boys - such a great feeling! Those happy memories would have been there if I was 16 in 1961, 1971, 1981 etc.
My sons were born in the eighties and love the late nineties and early noughties already reminiscing over photos of themselves with their then fashionable hairstyles and different clothes.

Those feelings lasted for me until about 2004 then they started to fade a little, I can still dredge them up occasionally, but have embraced
technology now instead ;D ;D ;D
