If money were no object, what would you do?
I would:
Have clean bedclothes every day - the smell of newly washed sheets is fab!
Have someone in to cook my tea and do the shopping.
Put together a team to wipe the floor with the Eggheads - repeatedly. Then see if they were still as smug!
What would you do?

Not work.
Have someone to follow me round the kitchen and clean up - I love cooking, but the cleaning up annoys me! Actually - I'd have a cleaner, full stop!
Have a gorgeous, luxurious bathroom.
Give the charity that has the Vulcan bomber at Finningley (sorry - Doncaster Robin Hood Airport!) enough money to never have to worry whether they'll be able to reach their next fundraising target again - might not be everybody's first charity choice, but she would be mine.

i would buy a small villa somewhere in the sun and keep enough money to pay for flights whenever i get fed up with uk weather i could just fly over for a few days oh and i would also like a cleaner :)

Make sure that my children were set up for life with their own houses or mortgages paid off.
Find a nice country house and have it done up top to bottom without scrimping. As I'm not getting any younger I'd need a cleaner, a gardener, a top chef........ ::)

I would buy a big house with loads of land & stabling for our horses. I would insist hubby retires. I would buy son a house. I would employ a personal yoga trainer who would come to my beautiful home yoga studio.
I would have my teeth whitened and fillings replaced with white ones.
I would get a couple of puppies and, since money is no object, I would employ someone to housesit when we go holidaying.
I would take all my clothes to charity shop and start from scratch with gorgeous well made stuff.

I would get a new house with land so I could have Donkeys ;D A cleaner, have my hair washed and blow dried 3 times a week so I can look like Cheryl Cole ;)
Help out my friends and build Shelters in Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Spain for all the abused and abandoned Doggies.

smudgesmum thats so lovely i would aslo love to help all the abandoned dogs we rescued our last one and we absolutly adored him we lost him last year and we now have a pup who is a right little devil spoilt to death he is :)

I'd have a nice bungalow with big gardens and a housekeeper/cleaner.
Also I would Travel the world and be "the Secret Millionaire " of sorts, helping out those in need, where I come across them in the world.
In a Private Jet.
I would have a place in France and One in Italy and rotate my time.
I would own a Gallery in both countries and showcase my Art.
I would like an "Entourage" of my own ...Cook, Hairdresser, Helper, Security/Driver Etc...... :o

Big house, big garden (with a housekeeper, and a gardener to grow veg)
Houses for my kids (and a cleaner for my slovenly daughter!!)
Holidays every couple of months
Lazer eye surgery and a tummy tuck
ALL my shopping would be organic/free range/fair trade
Have a dance studio in my garden so my friend could run her belly dance classes there and I'd have no excuse to not go every week!!
Put my boyfriend through Uni
Start up my own restaurant.....
This list could run and run!

Buy a nice house and hire a gardener and a cleaner
Donate to lots of charities and let my daughter adopt all these animals they keep advertising about on TV
Travel lots
Get a couple of horses
Join a really good gym with a sauna and go every day

Pay for someone to do all the things for Mum that I try to fit into my working day ::)
Adopt an enormous amount of retired greyhounds (and have someone to help with them)

I'd buy the lovely house we looked at in buxton (we had to see it, even though we couldn't afford it!!!) it has 32 acres, it's own stream etc.
We'd go on a world cruise.
I'd make sure all the children were comfortable.
And I'd love to have a kennels and cattery for abandoned animals to live in till they can be re-homed.
And also I'd cruise to new york, then buy a winibago spend about 6 months traveling across america, stopping off in loads of states, then when I reached LA I'd sell the winibago, cruise over to hawaii then , cruise home from there :), not that I've put much thought into it lol

I'd buy somewhere abroad to spend 6 months of the year there, have teeth done, have a maid, give kids some.

If I were rich (and nobody had to die in order for me to inherit the money) then the first thing I would do was buy this place http://images.vebra.com/tp/11431/6/details/613370.pdf I've stayed here a few times and it's made for me! Haven't got the million pounds at the moment though. Once moved in I would have dental work done (on me not the house) - just to brighten things up a bit - and then.. well I have no idea what I'd do after that.. I would just be able to "be" :D

Can you imagine walking up that hill in the dark after being to the pub. Oh what fun ;D ;D ;D
How about we all set up a fund to buy it, chip in a bit every month. I'm sure we could get it in no time.

If money were no object I would have detached house with a conservatory and a tennis court. It would have a large kitchen/ diner/living area with wall to wall glass doors overlooking a glorious view.
It would have a music room with a beautiful Steinway baby grand and a study
Each of the four bedrooms would be ensuite and I would have a personal chef to create wonderful meals every day
I would travel everywhere first class and stay in the best hotels
Thats the money side but money in itself cant buy happiness it just buys you things and gives you freedom of choice
What gives me the most satisfaction apart from my family is my work at the Citizens Advice Bureau. I think I have found with the experience that life brings that what makes you really happy is giving of yourself
I still wouldnt turn down the house though
I really enjoyed that bit of daydreaming!

I forgot to say that the house would also have a chill out room for the kids and their friends, or maybe even a separate wing in the garden

CLKD - no rockfalls that I know of and it is quite a way from the cliff edge so should be safe. North Devon cliffs are pretty solid.

Unbelievably idyllic and cheap at the price! Yes looks like lots of room for several households if you club together - I mean who needs inside space when you have all that...

I can "totter" downhill OK Taz - it's the "tottering" uphill after a pint of cider that I find difficuilt. :drunk: :drunk:
