I can't wait until October when the new season starts. It's going to be a long 3 weeks!
The gymnast looks as though he could move a bit and so did Victoria P. Bring it on!
Bramble
-
Love strictly .
-
So do I
-
Love the dancing but afraid can't stand Brucie. He should be put out to pasture.
-
Yep, I could not agree more, I found it so frustrating watching him read his lines off the card! makes it very false. He is great for his age but I think someone different should have done it this year. A change from Tess would have been nice also
Love the programme though and will watch it throughout!!
You are up late Anne , I thought everyone had gone to bed! or are you in a different country/timezone?
PN x x
-
Hi Purplenanny
Not a different time zone. In Scotland. Never in bed early. Have turned into a total insomniac. Have swallowed heavy duty painkillers that would knock out an elephant but not me!
Not a fan of Tess either- don't know why. Poor lass is inoffensive but would like someone else for a change as well.
You're up late as well Purplenanny!
-
Yes, it is a bit late. I went with my sisters to my niece's house this evening to watch Strictly. We are all hooked so thought we would get together to watch. Got home late and have been catching up on emails and MM.
I have not been out for almost a year so it made a nice change
Hope to get to sleep now. Hope you do too!
Purplenanny x x
-
I am awake too! My normal going to bed time is 1 a.m. and I wake up at 6. I used to fight it and try to go to bed earlier but that just meant I lay there worrying about why I couldn't get to sleep. Five hours is right for me although my doc says this is why I have gained weight in the last year :-\
Taz x
-
Hi Taz
I have to ask - what has sleep got to do with weight?
PN x x
-
All I can say ladies is i only get about 5 hrs sleep at night and the 3 stones I've lost after my hysterectomy hasn't gone back on again.
Maybe the doc thinks less time asleep means more time to eat! Who knows.
Think I'll try and go to bed. Watching all that dancing tonight has fair tired me out.
Night night ladies.
-
Not sure who I will back this year. Jerry annoyed me immensely, pouting & posing.
Think they need new presenters though, especially Brucie! His "jokes" are dreadful and his presentation skills are awful. Not sure who could take it on though.
-
I totally agree about Brucie, and I think Tess should go too.
Ohh for me it's never been the same since Mark Rampracash ( sorry can't spell it).....
-
Can't stand the way Jerry talks, sounds so-o-o put on. Poor Brucie - think it's time for him to hang up his shoes. Find Tess bit annoying too. Think Bruno and Craig will annoy me this time too - maybe I shouldn't watch it! ::)
-
We already have a thread on Strictly >:(
-
Think this was started for this season's show. Sure that was Bramble's reasoning.
-
I do like it, but really think it was better when Arleen Phillips was a judge. Was never keen on Aleisha doing it - I found her very irritating, but good when she was a dancer. I still watch the show, but the last couple of episodes seem to have lost that 'something,. Brucie is getting on but he can be very funny. :)
-
Yep, this is for this year.
Doed anyone read the forum on Digital Spy for Strictly. Some were less than impressed by Fern's 'figure'! It is a good place to lurk late on a Saturday because they have the results as soon as the second (result) show is filmed. Sad I know!
Bramble
-
What were they saying about Fern? She's put on a bit of weight lately, but still much slimmer than she was at her heaviest. I tried reading digital spy last year, but wouldn't let me in to read results. Was I doing something wrong?
-
In previous years i would arrange my calendar round strictly and it was non negotiable, but on saturday i felt that i couldn't be bothered and had seen it all before. Perhaps i will get into it when the series starts properly.
-
Same here Lady57. I love the show but really feel like a change in presenters would have been better. I love every other bit. It does take a time to 'get to know' the line up, so it does get more interesting as it goes along.
Purplenanny x x
-
Hi Ladies, How did you rate the prog tonight? I thought Darcie Bustle seems to be a better judge to have than Aleisha? Craig getting in a strop because they did a lift in the waltz. I don't think that couple deserved a 2!! :-\
Denise and James were good, but she has an advantage, because of her stage background. Shame the cycling oympic who lost her nerve. I think she will get a lot better?? :)
-
She allowed an illegal move in week 1 which is UNFAIR to her partner >:( ........... rules is rules! Brucie has lost the plot I think because they were being wound up for time all the way through the Programme - if it continues like that people will lose interest ::). It must be HUGEly nerve racking to go on for the 1st time, for 1 I couldn't walk across a room in those heels: and that's just the men ;D
-
As for Darcie - no doubt she was nervous too but for goodness sake, don't keep repeating yourself Dear >:(
-
Wake me up half way through the series when they have all settled into their stride and the dross has gone home. :)
-
CLKD Darcie and her "Yeh, you know that I mean Ya," did my head in. Craig, was his usual obnoxious self.
As for Brucie, oh dear he's really bad this year. His prompt cards aren't helping him much either, stammering & stuttering. Think he definitely needs replacing.
Victoria is so sensitive, hope she doesn't bubble like that every time she makes a boob.
-
cubagirl you are right, this is why i find it hard to get interested until about 4 - 5 weeks in. Then the worst have gone and the rest are settling in and starting to take it seriously and learn to dance. Then, for me, the contest begins properly. However i did prefer the earlier series and i miss Karen, Camilla and Lilia, Darren and Ian, and Arlene really did know her stuff. Bruce and Tess were better too, obviously Tess can only be as good as the cues she gets from Bruce who is now past his best for this show. ::)
-
Anton has been quoted as saying that once Bruce 'goes' the Show should stop :o
I will be able to fit in tonight's Show before I have to dash to a party 8)
-
Why should it? It is a strong enough show to survive without Bruce's bumbling, with the right host. I think Anton would be a good host himself. :)
-
Agreed .......... I do miss Ian though :-*
-
I love it but I think it is getting a bit tired. Some new dancers would have helped this year I think.
Bramble
-
I'm glad Aleicia and that awful laugh have gone. I preferred the programme when Arlene was the judge. Anton would make a good host and it was hilarious when Widdy was his partner. Russell Grant was really irritating - face like a fried egg and he fancied himself! ::)
-
Well, I think Darcy is a great improvement on Alesha. Loved Lisa tonight! Great entertainment!
-
Lisa was brilliant! So much fun, for all the right reasons.
Jerry, well what can I say. She can pose that's for sure. Don't think she will last long.
Poor Johnny Ball, he tired really hard but I think his days may be numbered also.
-
Re- Johnny Ball, I bet he can waltz great. I feel like they always try to make the older ones look silly.
-
Are we sitting comfortably ......... :whist:
-
no my piles are playing up :( but i will be watching :)
-
My favourites tonight were Denise, Kimberley & Louis.
-
Oh Jane - not a condition I have yet suffered with.
Lisa for me!
-
Louis, Denise and Lisa for me this week. Although there are some weaker contestants it is lovely not to have a joke act this year. Jerry and Johnny the weakest for me, i made a cuppa and went to the toilet when they were on ::)
-
So sorry Johnny has gone! :(
-
He looked quite upset about it too.
-
I thought that the cricketer should have walked ;)
-
I agree CLKD, him or Richard.
-
I was sorry to see Johnny go too. OK he wasn't brilliant but he clearly enjoyed it and gave it his best shot. How can you compare his efforts with someone like Denise V O who (although she says her dancing was years ago) is ain another league with all her experience.
-
I quite agree, PF , CLKD and cubagirl
-
Jerry Hall has said that she is only going to do the bare minimum each week, because she gets paid the same whether she goes out in the first week or the last week. She's getting paid the most too. >:(
-
That doesn't seem fair does it. Others are obviously putting a huge effort into their performance.
If thats true then it only shows her to be a money grabbing, lazy Diva.
-
I hope she soon gets voted off - already had enough of her posing and preening for the cameras.....
-
I don't see anything attractive about her, or is that just me?
-
I don't like her, she is not attractive inside or out :-(
-
Feel sorry for Anton, I think she will be voted out soon.
-
Anton doesn't stand a chance in this show, he never gets a decent partner, just the jokes and the has beens and he is always so good humoured and gracious :(
-
Erin Boag never seems to get a decent partner either.
-
Good Show tonight!
-
I think they need some better singers on Strictly.
-
??? .........
there was a costume malfunction which should not have happened, there were too many in the last series - don't the fitters realise? However, those costumes were fab ;)
-
I loved Louis and Flavia's Dirty Dancing routine and if Lisa was supposed to be a joke act then the joke has backfired, she is remarkably light on her feet and has a good sense of time and rhythm. Jerry Hall just cannot be bothered, poor Anton ::)
-
I think that Jerry is working harder than is obvious ;) .........
I couldn't walk across a room in those high heels :o
-
Louis was very good despite what Len said! Denise good also.
Sid looked really peeved. He may well be in the bottom two tonight along with the cricketer, name escapes me, due to virtually no sleep last night.
-
I've caught up on i-player. Thought it was a great show last night. I agree Jerry is awful :(and also those two men, the cricketer and Richard. My favourites were Lisa and Louis. Lisa is loving it all so much and is so full of life. I thought Victoria looked beautiful in that blue dress. Denise has an unfair advantage in that she was in Chicago and has been to stage school. ;)
I think it will be those two men in the dance off - as they were quite boring. Jerry should be because she is too big for her boots!!
-
I think it was fair tonight. Jerry was poor in all honesty but the cricketer was only very marginally better. Enjoying the prog though. :)
-
There really was nothing to choose, perhaps Len should have booted them both off and opened up the competition ;)
-
They were both very wooden. Really enjoyed the show though and looking forward to next Saturday.
-
There wasn't a lot to pick between the two of them, but glad Jerry went. Though I do feel very sorry for Anton. He always gets the duff celebrities. Hope they give him a decent one next year.
-
Like taking over Brucie's spot ? :-X
-
Surely Brucie can't last another year on Strictly. I'm also fed up with Tess. She's turning into a right poser. If she's not pushing her hips one way, then it's the other. Last week she nearly fell out of her dresses. On the Saturday, when she first came on you could practically see her nipples. Later on she had adjusted herself. Then on the Sunday show she was falling out sideways from her halterneck! Good grief! Though hubby wasn't complaining! ;)
-
I LOVE Flavia's dress :-*
-
I think the singers are brilliant and very versatile.
-
Just caught up on i-player, my favourites this week were, Michael and Victoria. :)
-
I like Lewis and was surprised at Michael's progress. Sad for Ola's problems :(
Did you know that if you are like me and have no patience to wait you can find the results on digital spy as it is recorded the same night as the show. I can't stand all the waffle in the results show so i confess to looking it up on Sunday morning ::)
-
Loved Lewis and Flavia, brilliant. Was very surprised by Michael, although not sure if I like him very much.
Pleased Anton had a role to play - he really should be presenting instead of Bruce! Maybe next year.
Poor Ola, she is a real trooper to carry on. I think Sid and Richard will be bottom two this week
Purplenanny x x
-
Maybe I'm thick, but where in Digital Spy do you find the results. I tried last year and again this year and only find the previous weeks results.
I still like watching the Sunday show though as I like to see the professionals.
-
Forums>TV>Strictly come dancing>official spoiler thread for (whatever that week's date is) The result comes up after 10.30pm :)
-
BUT please DO NOT share the results here ;) - we plan our whole weekends around Strictly how sad is that ;D
-
Vincent Simone's peroxide blonde wig was in bad taste. I couldn't look at it - reminded us of that creep J.S! :(
-
Couldn't get in anyway. ;) Vincent was Shaggy, not sure what else he could have worn.
-
Oh ;D
-
Correct decision again ..........
-
Must get our evening meal timedso that we can sit and watch :o
-
Call me old fashioned, but did Tess need to wear a dress slit up to you know where? It's obvious she has a great figure after 2 kids, but she doesn't need to flaunt herself!
My favourites last night were Kimberley, Denise and Louis.
-
I thought that last night, from certain angles it was not only CRH who 'got an eyeful' (thought he was wrong to say that to young Dani in the way he did!)
-
I think he realised that after he'd said it. Who will be the bottom 2 tonight.
-
:-X
-
Poor Dani, not very tactful of CRH.
Bottom two, Richard & Colin/Fern.
-
Being an old queen CRH might not have realised the effects of his remark but once said he realised how much it had embarassed her so they tried to cover it up and I got the feeling she thought they were laughing at her. She is only 23 years old.
-
Maybe Nicky and Colin. I think the public tends to vote off the boring ones! ;D
-
I think CRH was totally out of order and at least a :foryou: from him for Dani after those coarse remarks. Being gay doesn't give anyone the 'right' to be so crude. I have put 'up' with him in recent years and his autobiography was interesting, but he has gone under the table in my estimation. Brucie needs to have more input into his 'script', it's a w aste of Licence Payers' money >:(
-
:whip: Bad boy Craig!
-
The episode wasn't mentioned in 'this evening's' show ::) .......... it is getting to feel more and more contrived :-\
I think the correct decision was made ............
-
I don't think they dared to mention it = poor Dani, how embarrasing for her.
Yes, best decision with the ones leaving
-
Pity they can't keep 2 bad 'dance offs' untl the next week if neither improves, pity the can't get rid of 2 bad dancers when necessary ::)
Poor Kristina ....... is she still dating that boxer from Wales?
-
They're saying in the papers that the GORGEOUS Artem is removing more & more clothes to detract from Fern's "Knees up Mother Brown" routines and every dance she does ends up the same with lots of dress swishing and showing her thighs.
I think she should be out next week but sadly so will Artem. :'(
-
I think Fern will go fairly soon. There are much better dancers in the competition. Sad that Artem would go too. However, we would still see him when the professionals perform together.
-
They're saying in the papers that the GORGEOUS Artem is removing more & more clothes to detract from Fern's ...
well it worked for me - I did not watch ANY of her awful dancing. I do believe that people are voting for them just to keep the lovely Atem in. What a body and gorgeous smile.
I loved the male dancers opening routine - fantastic! We need more of this.
Bruce is off for a couple of weeks - it just gets better!
PN x x
-
I thought we were going to get Ronnie Corbett again. Phew we're not!
-
Claudea *and* Tess :-X
-
Don't like Claudia much either if I'm honest. Why couldn't they use one of the "redundant" pros?
-
We haven't seen Aliona since her injury :-\ and apparently that Gorgeous Ian is standing in for James ;)
-
Where's James gone?
-
He has hurt his ankle.
B.
-
Thanks, i haven't seen that reported yet.
-
I've just been watching some of the excellent dances from earlier series. I had forgotten how good Matt Baker and Austin Healey were...........
Bramble
-
Oh where you'd see those ?
-
They said on It Takes Two that Ian Waite will stand in for James during training and possibly on Saturday, apparently he hobbled out of the theatre to hospital. Not sure how the injury happened
-
From what i read it was not in the dancing but he did it on some stairs
-
Everybody danced really well. I really enjoyed Richard and Danni this time. Denise is always great, loved the red dress, but she has an advantage, because she has been in Chicago etc, whereas some of the others haven't danced much. Possibly Michael will be out later.
Claudia was good as a temporary replacement for Bruce, and I think she is very funny! :)
-
I thought it was tight and professional and flowed well without the inane jokes, silly themes and comedt vts, it was all about the dancing. I thought the personal introduction of the singers was a lovely touch and well overdue. However it did lack something whether you like BF or not he does bring showmanship to the show.
-
I like Claudia, she doesn't do herself justice, some of the clothes she wears ..........
-
I wonder if that is the TV persona she has cultivated or is she the same away from the cameras doyou think?
-
Claudia seems to the portray the slightly gawky persona, tripping over things etc like Miranda Hart, but she is probably naturally funny like that.
Brucie is ok, my mother can't stand him. :) x
-
Not sure why Claudia has to wear tents. Not flattering in the least. She may not have Tess's svelte figure, but her dresses are shapeless. Unless she is trying to hide a bump of course. Think she tries too hard at being funny.
I think Michael may well be the one leaving.
-
Her 'bump' arrived about 9 months ago ;) and I felt so much more relaxed without Brucie being there.
-
Her 'bump' arrived about 9 months ago ;) and I felt so much more relaxed without Brucie being there.
Me too! I enjoyed it so much more. Did you notice they did not have to miss any judges comments out either? Much better
I think maybe Fern to go out, but have to say they all did quite well
-
Maybe she feels self-conscious of her changed body shape then. Know what you mean about feeling more relaxed without Brucie. I know he's a "showman" but the prog isn't about him, it's about the dancers.
Michael or Fern maybe. Although Fern was better this week. But she needs to stop drooling over Artem. He looks quite uncomfortable at times.
-
Oh where you'd see those ?
They are all on you*ube.
Bramble
-
Tess has a lovely figure, but she also wears some terrible dresses! Bit of a shocker in the dance off tonight then! :o
-
Correct decision .......... and next week will be ...........
-
Ok programme tonight, but the camera was all over the place and couldn't really see the dancing, mainly the flashing lights. I have voted for Michael tonight and also liked Victoria, Danni, kimberly. I think its time that Richard went. He will be in the dance off with ? :-X
Tess's dress was nice tonight, but not sure about the white stripe up the sleeve!
-
Lisa? The judges like her bubbliness, but I thought her actual dancing tonight was pants! Good on her for the splits mind you :o
-
Richard has to go. Likewise Lisa was ok but not as good as others. Not sure who other one in the bottom two might be, maybe Nicky.
-
Yes, agree Richard should go and possibly Nicky. I thought Victoria did extremely well. I did not like all the fussy floor lighting but it is such a huge space I guess they had to do something
-
Hi, yes I agree, I think the 'Wembley' week is the worst to watch on tele. You miss the personality of the dance which comes across in a smaller place. Still proceeds went to Children In Need.
Bottom two, I think Richard and it might be an upset this week (like last) - Louis or Lisa - hope not though. Tx
-
Correct decision
-
What AWFUL production! If I had been here I would have missed most of the programme because I would have been sending an e-mail to the BBC >:(. I think Sat. was the beginning of the downfall for this programme.
-
We don't particularly enjoy Wembley week either. It's way too big. Fine for the big show dances, but not for just one couple. It was the same last year too. Will be glad to see it back to normal this week.
I also read somewhere the Beeb are lining up Ronnie Corbett to take over from Brucie, if he decides to pack it in at the end of this series. Heaven help us, I detest him even more. Could it be that Brucie has suggested he may leave.....
-
OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please tell me that is a nasty rumour! I cannot stand Ronnie Corbet! These people ar just not funny (in my opinion) I love Strictly so much but I really don't think I could watch it with him - I would have to buy a recorder so I could whizz past his bits. There must be others that could do the job better!
-
If Brucie goes (and he should!), the only possible replacement is Anton - he's a natural. As for Wembley - get rid, but let's go back to Blackpool. The weeks from the Tower Ballroom were great.
-
Here here Scampi, I agree totally!
-
Anton would be great but it would depend if he is ready to step away from the dancing yet?
-
We saw so little of Victoria's cycle bit that it was a complete waste from the viewers' point of view - and WHO pays the Licence Fee >:(
-
Anton always gets rubbish celebrities so I guess he would welcome it!
Yes, I thought the bicycle was a waste of time CLKD , probably great for the audience
-
I think Bradley Walsh would be a good host and he is really funny. Take a look at the clip of him on utube, from the show 'The Chase '....the clip called ,Fanny.....
-
Yes, he is very good and naturally funny
-
I couldn't get enthused tonight. I thought that the dances which the Judges didn't like were great ::)
-
Nicky was my favourite. Denise is very annoying because she is good at all of them, due to her 'stage' background, and hasn't made the progress like Lisa has. Craig's comments about Lisa were unkind and I thought she did danced well.
-
I actually had goosepumps during Lisa's performance and Robin's look at the end :-*
-
Correct one went tonight though.
-
Yep, Victoria has no core strength when dancing ::) ............
-
I have not been particularly impressed with the frocks this time. Last week it looked as Dani only had a bra top with some sequins sewn on and this week Victoria's dress was awful.
-
You're right the dresses have been better. But what on earth was Tess wearing on last night's show? AWFUL!!!!
-
Cubagirl when tess came on TV last night I have out a loud gasp as I could not believe what she was wearing - she looked awful. Dani is my fav I have liked her for ages. Can't connect with Denise am afraid. Xxx
-
I always prefer the ones who come into the competition raw, with no experience and then you watch them blossom and develop and improve like Dani and Michael. Ones like Denise who are good from the start are boring because there is not the interest there as they improve.
-
H&S I sounded like my mum when I saw Tess's outfit! "What on earth are you wearing Tess, don't you know kids are watching!" Hubby just laughed at me. Mind you I was pretty knackered anyway, but even so, it hadn't impaired my vision! ???
-
Tess has got awful dress sense, and yet she could wear anything! :-\
-
She does wear some really nice ones occasionally though, just not very often.
-
Really loved Louis and Flavias dance tonight.
-
i really liked the whole show tonight, Dani and Vincent's viennese waltz made me feel teary, but i think they need to cut down on the double entendres there is no place for them in the show. Bruno is out of control at times too and ends us a ridiculous clown.
-
WOW :bounce:
-
I was glad to see that Kimberley and Dani were better than Denise tonight so it's not a one woman show now.
-
Lisa really needs to get her underpinnings sorted out - she nearly had Robin's eyes out tonight.
Thought Nicky was really good tonight but the judges did not agree.
Bramble.
-
I wonder who will be in the bottom two? Maybe Denise and Michael?
-
If you don't want to wait until the Sunday, Digital S*y Forums is the place to go.
Bramble
-
NOOOOOO :-X
-
I must confess i do look at the result on saturday night or sunday morning so i don't have to watch the results show ::)
-
The results show is the best part ;D - right couple gone this evening well last night ::) .......... Lisa next week?
-
I do think Lisa's days are numbered. They praise her to the hilt but I didn't think she did that well on Saturday. I watch their feet a lot and I didn't feel she was in time with her partner. There are others who are much better.
-
I think Lisa started off better than anyone imagined but has not really progressed as the routines have got more demanding so the flaws and cracks are starting to show. My money is on Dani, Louis and maybe Nicky
-
Louis or Denise I reckon.
-
I would like Nicky to win ;) I think he's made the most progress
-
and he's cute ;)
-
I don't want Denise to win, because she was good in the first place. I think someone who has made the most consistent progress should win like Danni 8)
-
No I don't want her to win either for that very reason. I love watching her, but she has been consistently good from the start.
I would quite like to see Dani win or Kimberley. Nicky is good, and yes he's quite cute, but not sure his dancing is consistent enough. He basically walked through that routine at the weekend.
-
Didn't Kimberley do well? She has just got better and better. Hope she makes the final! Denise has been good from the start, but the others have caught up and are passing her by now.
I think Lisa needs to go. They were hard on Nicky I felt, but I'm no expert.
-
Denise has been good but when you look at the training hours she is far and away the hardest worker so she deserves her high scores. Some weeks she is putting in double the hours compared to Nicky and Dani etc.
Bramble
-
And what is it with all these cutaway frocks and randomly coloured belts round them? It's horrible.
B.
-
Kimberley and Pasha to win!! :)
-
I think maybe there will be a surprise one in the bottom two tonight. Lisa or Nicky may well go, but Lisa is still very popular. ;)
-
Lisa cannot possibly go to the final it would be so unfair on the others who I feel are better. Yes she's good and I've been amazed at her stamina and her personality comes through in her performances, but I feel if she doesn't go this week, then she may next.
-
I think Lisa should have gone out tonight - but hey ... it's the public's choice!
I was very impressed with how Nicky improved since the start and sad he went instead of Lisa.
-
Yep, Lisa should have gone but Nicky probably would have gone soon after. Kimberley or Dani to win and Bramble, I don't like those frocks either.
-
Wrong way round this evening?
-
I know this is awful, but I was pleased to see Denise in the bottom two. That woman is irritating! She has the advantage of having been to stage school and she isn't popular with the public.
Lisa will probably be in the final because she is so popular and has achieved so much. I think she has a lot of guts. ;)
-
Denise has been popular with the public or how else ............
Onwards and upwards : wonder who will be dancing in 2013 show?
-
WOW :bounce: I think I danced every step :-*
-
Lisa needs to go this week. It would be a shame if one of the others was to get the boot.
-
Kimberley and Dani the final 2 for me please :)
-
Agree with Cubagirl and Jane, thought Kimberley was amazing.
-
Can't believe Lisa got the same marks as Louis in the first round considering the number of mistakes she made!
Bramble
-
I like Lisa but she should go this week. It my works 'do' next Saturday night so I'm going to miss the final.
-
Looking forward to the results show tonight. My opinion is that Kimberly and Lisa will be in the final. This is because Lisa is the 'peoples choice' and Kimberly is the most exciting and talented dancer left. :)
-
Kimberley was superb! However, the British public do like an underdog. Still think Lisa will go though. As for marking her as high as Louis, were the judges watching the same dancing which we were?
-
Did you see her get stuck on her back on the floor? I don't think Robin should have attempted a floor spin with her :o
-
They're both the most interesting to watch (Lisa and Kimberly). Also Danni is doing really well, loved the Argentine tango. Denise and Lous are very good, but haven't really made the improvements everyone else has, because they were good to begin with.
-
Guess what'll be will be. Didn't vote so guess have to accept the result. As for Lisa, she hit the floor like a sack of potatoes. Not very ladylike. All very well saying Lisa is good entertainment, but she's not the best dancer, not by a long way.
-
Well the right person went tonight. Can't wait for next Saturday's final!
-
Yes I agree..I want Dani to win
-
I think it is very unfair how they select contestants for Strictly. Someone like Denise, who has every advantage and has had dancing lessons as a child and has just walked off the stage of Chicago, against someone like Lisa who has had no advantages, had weight problems etc, she has come much much further than sulking looking Denise.
I didn't enjoy the Kathrine Jenkins section tonight singing that Santa Baby rubbish and dancing etc. She supposed to be an opera singer! It was really cringe making and hard to watch tonight. Won't be following it from now on but hope Denise gets voted off very soon. :-X
-
Denise has worked very hard - she is always at the top of the training hours every week. Good luck to her.
Bramble
-
I really want Kimberley to win because she has come on hugely since she started. I also have a soft spot for Pasha. ;)
-
Kimberley or Dani to win.
Anyone else think Tess's dress was spoiled by the stiff looking peplum?
-
Thought Lisa's departure was very emotional. Denise is defo the best dancer but I am not liking her sportsmanship. Dani and Kimberley are my favourites. Sat nights are not going to be the same when strictly ends.
I have yet to see tess in a dress that I like she looks awful a lot of the time. Does she not have a mirror? Xxx

Heavens, was blown away tonight! Poor Dani's nerves got the better of her. I think Louis might just win, but to be honest any one of them deserves it.

I will be pleased if Kimberley and Pasha or Louis and Flavia win.

Yay! I can't wait! My absolute favourite programme of the Autumn - well, apart from Downton Abbey!
New dancers apparently - shame about the ones that have left though, I really liked Vinthent and Flavia
I went to see Craig Revel Horwoods live show with Lisa Riley, etc. It was fantastic and she was brilliant - anyone else see it?

Do you mean Calzaghe CLKD? ;D
I don't know anyone who is in it except Abbey Clancy and that Vanessa woman. It starts on the 7 Sept I think.

Yep.
Haven't seen the line-up - yet ;)
Vincent and Flavia are busy with their own show, apparently it's really really good :-*
