I know the name and I'm sure I've read some of her books but can't remember what.  Can anyone give me some titles?

Light a Penny Candle, Echoes, The Lilac Bus, Firefly Summer, Silver Wedding, Circle of Friends....to name but a few.  I've read all of them and she is one of my favourite writers - RIP Maeve

I can't recall any of them.  Does anyone else have that problem?  I read a book, think it's fantastic then totally forget what it was about within a year.

Oh I read books and forget within days, however I have read all of hers.  When I see the titles in Charity Shops I know I've read them  ;)

Was she ill for long or is it sudden?

I read a number of her books.  Liked them a lot.

Think it was a short illness CLKD, though not sure what.

I read a few of her books and enjoyed them.  Loads better than all the chic-lit stuff with gharish covers which are on the shelves now.

I liked MB's books. You don't see them in the charity shops as much as you use too since she died.

My favourites are: Tara Road, Scarlet Feathers... oh & Quentins

I might re-read them.  It will mean buying them from Charity shops.  They all have a twist that is usually un-expected  :o

I've read all of them too, quite often something tragic happens.

Hyacinth - they are all set in Ireland and the same families pop up in lots of them, does that ring any bells?
