Yes,I want to see them :)
Hoping to fit them in when I go 'on tour' for the Centenery of Titanic's sinking and visit all the many towns on my map plan ;)

:thankyou: Mrs P. I don't know that I would want to be rushed through an enclosure, this happened to us at Twycross recently when we went into the 'tropical' house ::) and I didn't feel I had seen anything, not even the sloth for any length of time [which probably pleased the sloth ;D]. One of my dreams ticked though, I would like to see an aardvark too 8)

I paid a lot once to go and see the London Zoo pandas (ages ago). All I saw was a pair of very large, upturned, furry feet. Mr Panda was fast asleep. Mrs was nowhere to be seen.
I love them. I think my dream job would be looking after pandas. They are a joke; impossibly adorable looking wild animals. I can see I'll have to go up to Edinburgh some day to see some more sleeping feet ;D

nice video from the zoo from when one of them is wide awake!

Have a long weekend and enjoy our lovely Scottish weather. 8)
I do know what you mean though. I feel guilty in asking OH to drive very long distances as I dont like motorway driving so am as much use as a chocolate teapot.

But if you fly would would miss the chance to see the STUNNING scenery between Newcastle and Edinburgh on the train - make it a treat and enjoy the train journey - the view really is fabulous.

I remember how the keepers rescued as many as possible when that region of China had an earth-quake, they seem quite an amiable animal :-*

A red panda has escaped from his enclosure into the main part of a UK Zoo but I can't remember which one ::) …. they are usually very quiet, sleeping high up during the day but apparently this 1 is enjoying being out and about ;D
