Greater emphasis on the importance and effectiveness of CBT is well placed. R there any Peer Reviewed Research Papers to back up this thought?  Having tried CBT for other issues and found it useless  :-\ how will CBT alter the effects of hormonal upheaval?

Should we look at our vaginas and say 'go away atrophy' ?

I am very shocked that the BMS would consider endorsing CBT for hot flushes.

I have been reading it and am very shocked by the change in language.

The use of 'people' seems to be particularly awkward - it is not clear when they are talking about people as in the general population, and people as a short cut for the cumbersome phrase, 'Women, trans men and non-binary people registered female at birth'.  This makes the parts where they are talking about baseline stroke risk unclear as to whether that is the general population or women.

Some of the tables are hard to interpret as a result.

They are also putting the brakes on women finding a dose of vagifem (and similar) that is suitable for them.

I am glad I am not a doctor trying to interpret these guidelines.  I think there will be a lot of pushback as a result for women whose doctors do not wish to prescribe HRT, like it was post Million Women/Millenium survey.
