Hello all,
This week I switched to a new hrt and for the last four days I've had an ache behind my left eye that comes and goes.
Before I start to worry could this possibly be hrt switch related and if so will it ease off soon?
Thanks

Hi Hopeful1.
Could it be a migraine.?
I used to get terrible pressure behind my left ear when I was on patches,
still do sometimes when I get a migraine, even though I'm now on tablet hrt.
Some people get migraines behind the eye area....
Can't think of anything else, maybe someone will post with another explanation...
Xx

Hi thanks for the replies.
I've never had a migraine and rarely a headache but maybe it could be that. I used to get dry eye but that has got better since being on hrt. This ache feels like it's behind the eye not in it if that makes sense.
Thanks

Perhaps you should make an appointment with an optician to check your eyes.

Sounds like migraine. I just had one this week all behind my left eye. If you search on migraine you will see a lot of members have had the eye pain. Hopefully Sparkle will see your post as I know she suffered badly with migraine in her eye in peri.

Thanks all. The pain has stopped now so fingers crossed it was just a one off thing.
