Title: 1 pump estrogel: same arm or alternate?
Post by: Shannonplussed on October 20, 2020, 04:26:52 PM
For those using 1 pump estrogel daily, do you apply to the same arm each day, or alternate? Does it matter or not, and why?

Think your supposed to alternate between places everyday..
I'm not on that, I'm on tablet form now, but when I used Sandrena, I used my thighs to apply it, different one everyday.
I think it's something to do with absorbing the gel. But not quite sure. x

I apply it to alternate legs at night, and I rub it in till its dried,  have done the same routine for 15 yrs, works very well.

Hi I don’t think it really matters. I use 4 pumps of gel every morning .... 2 on each outer arm . X

Oestrogel leaflet used to advise to alternate sites of application, but not any more. Sandrena leaflet says 'Apply the gel to a different side of your body each day'. The reason behind this advice is just to reduce possible skin irritation caused by the fillers, particularly ethanol.
