Title: Adding Avatar (Picture)

Could someone please let me know how I add a picture to my profile. I have tried to work this out myself and I can't find anything to help.

Post by: Joyce on December 09, 2014, 02:32:41 PM: Go into profile in blue bit near top of page. Then go into forum profile. In there, there's a bit where you can choose a picture. Hope that helps.

I got mine from google too. I just put in Christmas dogs and mine popped up so i downloaded that.

Post by: bramble on December 10, 2014, 12:10:12 PM: In Google images do you right click and 'copy shortcut' or just download it to your PC and browse for that image on your PC?? ANd which of the 4 boxes do you 'tick' on the profile page? I have always used Photobucket so this is new to me. Perhaps some detailed instructions will help! :-*

Post by: Rowan on December 14, 2014, 12:08:49 PM: I click on where it says "Browse" and it takes me to where my "pictures" are stored (I have a lot) I choose one and its uploaded to MM, I click on "save" and there it is.

Posting an image or photo in a post is different though.

Post by: Joyce on December 14, 2014, 01:50:11 PM: Never been too successful with photos, but it's more to do with my photos being too big. But if you want to try you use the icon above below B & above A. Then paste in there. I can post from places like google images but that's it.

You click can on a code for forums, (there is a list) that is by the side of the image or pic you have chosen and copy to insert image on your forum post

Click on "insert image" and paste code in the middle brackets - click preview to check the image has worked.

Once you have got the hang of it its easy.

Or you can do what cubagirl does and right click on any image on the on the web scroll down the "Properties" (URL) copy the it if it is a JPEG image, high light and copy URL address and click on MM "Insert Image" and paste, if that does not work try just pasting the address into your message post.
