We always buy supermarket 'best', costing pennies rather than pounds ;). Article in the paper yesterday saying that the active ingredient and quality will be the same as 'branded' medications.

Always buy supermarket brand where possible.

I have read the same and i do buy supermarket/generic versions of most medications (paracetamol or anti histamine for example) but the exception for me is Ibuprofen. I still buy Nurofen as I find that they work better for a tension headache, particularly for a first dose. I have tried to persuade myself otherwise but have failed.

I buy Ibubrufen from the Supermarket and it works fine ::)

Cetirizine puts me to sleep, so loratidine it has to be!
I always buy generics, usually supermarket's own. I'm allergic to ibruprofen, but when I could take it I bought the liquid capsules rather than tablets and they worked much faster (DD uses them now and finds the same - tablets take just too long to dissolve and start to work).
