Title: Peter Tork
Post by: Shadyglade on February 21, 2019, 09:45:19 PM
Peter Tork has died aged 77.

He was my favourite Monkee and I named my budgie after him. Only two left now. Making me feel really old.

Saddened to hear this news.  I absolutely loved The Monkees, danced in my school gym to I'm A Believer when I was twelve.  Was in love with Davy Jones and had pin ups from Fabulous 208 of Davy and the group on my bedroom wall and collected all of their LP,s.  How the time goes, Peter was a great musician and song writer.  It will be Micky and Mike left.

Daydream Believer and I'm a Believer are 2 of the earliest pop songs which I liked and remember. Sad news.
