-
Copy, paste?
-
Didn't work ::)
-
Maybe because it was FB. If you try & copy to your computer, then copy & paste. Heck, listen to me, do I know about technology? Absolutely not. ;D Though I have done it that way in the past, it doesn't always work.
-
::)

If you go to :google.co.uk/search : ShutUpI'mStillTalking ……: 'images' you'll see some of the funnies ;)

I get scared of links and things, I always seem to end up with a germ in my laptop!
-
I think you mean a virus BJ ;D

It's OK to do a search though ;) ……. scroll down the page until you get to the web-page
BabyJane has a cold so germs are in the fore-front of her mind ….. <shakes page hard>

oh yes :) but I have had a worm in the laptop too before now! My son is a computer chap and I just repeat what he tells me as I know nothing (to quote Manuel). Sorry I think I am delirious this morning - temperature and sleep deprivation :(
-
a worm is a type of computer virus sparkle. Its called a worm because it wriggles through your files and drives damaging them whether you click on things and open them or not. Little b*****s they are >:(.
-
Something similar wrecked my old tablet. They are nasty little things.
-
1 can get treatment for worms from the Vet. ;)

That's ok - my Mum once asked me why you had to have a mouse to use a computer...we had a very surreal conversation as she was thinking of a furry critter with a long tail...
-
;D that took me back to the 1st day in my very 1st job: when a mouse popped out of the typewriter basket, used her tail and slid down the wire onto the floor and away :o ……..

babyjane have you got something like Norton 360 ( it runs in the background) on your computer, it gives complete protection. Run full scan manually every two weeks. Defragging is important too.
Also Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
Run it weekly.
I am forever using links copying and pasting and have no problems.
A computer is like your body, regularly health checks keeps it safe :)

That reminded me of the time my Mum started a computer course at her local library, she was very excited as they had shown her how to email and so she sent one to me. When I saw her later that day I told her I'd replied to which she answered "but I won't get it if I don't use the same computer next week".......doh ::)

I have AVG, Zone Alarm, Malwarebytes and Spybot S&D. Brother in law loaded it all on for me and it does regular updates and scans.
My laptop is old and has an old version of windows but it does for what I want to do with it. I am not a great user of the internet at the best of times.

I would never pay for anti virus software. If you look on the Martin Lewis website he recommends the very best and safe free ones. They work really well.

Love it! :D Makes me feel like a computer expert by comparison (everything's comparative...I'm comparatively normal...but you don't want to see who I'm comparing myself with ;D )

I only posted suggestions babyjane as you said
"I get scared of links and things, I always seem to end up with a germ in my laptop" and took it to mean you had problems with viruses.
-
That's the good thing about the Martin Lewis ones. They have been tried and tested and are perfectly safe......and free ;D
