:). :congrats: Harry and Meghan!
-
Congrats to the betrothed couple. :)
-
I think it's lovely to have a happy news story, be even better if the government change their minds and gave everyone a day off.
-
I'm a Diana fan so I'm really happy for the boys x
-
Im an old cynic
Photos taken by Film star celeb photographer.
2 photos get a room wdy?
560.000 dress bloody nora.
Imgine if Kate had come out in a bloody ball gown on the day she got engaged
She wore a top shop frock. This one wears a flaming ball gown.
I give it 5 years. I hope im wrong but idts
-
Cynical perhaps ;D - shall we take Bets now ...........
There won't be 6 months ......... something else will take over!
-
Did you enjoy it. I cracked at 11.45 and turned on the TV, ITV gave a better coverage ;)
-
Thoroughly enjoyed it from 10 am on ITV I dislike Ore Oduba who is on every BBC programme, including the royal wedding >:(Her dress was so plain, all the detail was in her veil but didn't her tiara sparkle in the beautiful sunshine :)
Dresses I didn't like were princess Anne, Beatrice and Eugenie so dowdy, Catherine's family are all so elegant but Victoria Beckham so miserable :(
Harry looks so happy and in love ahhhhh I did shed a tear or a soggy tissue full ::)

I agree with everything you say, although I loved her dress AND I don't have a scooby who Ore Oduba is ! X

I would ban anyone at the door who wore black or dark colours to my wedding. Whilst one should not out-do the Bride or her Mother one also shouldn't dress like at a Funeral >:( ........ David was trying to engage Victoria at one point but she turned her head away.
-
I did like her dress Annie0710, but it as plainer than I expected.
Ore won strictly in 2016, I didn't like him then he was annoying but since then I've seen him on every tv programme, in the last week alone he's been on Saturday kitchen, the BAFTAS, The one show, a game show every afternoon, royal wedding programme yesterday and today, not sure if I've missed any :o
-
What a lovely wedding :)
- made even better by being there and performing with my choir along the Long Walk throughout the morning :D
-
Wow, lucky you, Salad!
I'm just wondering - how long before "that neckline" starts appearing on all the fashion shelves? ::)
-
Last night? :D
Oh Salad - were you nervous? Was it very hot? Did U get on the TV ..........
Wonder who they spent the night and what today has held. Hopefully they will get time to spend with Doria B4 she flies back. I thought she was very dignified and elegant.
-
Loved the wedding.
I thought I'd only watch a little, but ended up getting engrossed in it all.
Meghan is sooo beautiful, her dress was just gorgeous, and Harry's lovely.
I absolutely loved the choir, ‘stand by me' was brilliant. Throughly enjoyed it. To my
Surprise.
As for Victoria beckham, she just looked like she didn't want to be there!
I wonder if they're fed up with each other, she certainly looked like she's fed up
with him. ::)
-
One shouldn't wear dark/black to a wedding. However, Victorians did, black silk and netting .......... they started the C.mas tree too ........ :-\
If we go out somewhere posh I try to find lilac or maroon as the basis of my outfit with cream jacket and shoes. Not long having seen a photo of me looking really frumpy when I felt really good :'(
-

More nervous about getting there on time :)
There were about 150 of us. so you feel well supported in covering mistakes and our amazing leaders guide us through the songs so well. It did get really hot but it was worth the prime view to persevere.
We were covered by news teams from America, Canada. Germany and Norway - no British coverage but I'm not really a camera person ;D
Plus I got to see Phillip Schofield so that made my day!
-
I like Philip,
He seems down to earth
Nice house he's got, did you see it at Xmas time, he was trying out
all different Xmas lights.
-
He doesn't need to be on that advert with the ginger kitten though and what happens to that kitten when they stop filming :'(

I did jillydoll, I enjoy seeing him on This Morning when he has the laughing fits - my Schofe sighting was brief, as he went past us in the High Street on one of the buggies, so my friends only saw the back of his head :D
-
Yeah, like it when he starts laffing, but he also asks the right questions too.
He doesn't need to do that clkd, but it's more money isn't it.....
Stupid advert anyway, lol
-
I'm waiting for the kitten to pee ;D

The wedding was screened at our village hall which gave a wonderful atmosphere followed by the village children doing Maypole dancing on the green - all such fun.
A magical Wedding - Meghan carried it off with such poise and charm. Loved the music and the modern twists to the service.
I also thought Prince Charles did a wonderful job of looking after the brides mother - it must have been so tough for her all on her own and he was so warm and charming with her.
Diana would've been so proud of her boys. DG x
-
I watched most of it and was so happy for them both. I thought Meghan's mother was dignified and regal and both bride and groom have been raised byl mothers I admire.
Saddens me that people have been so negative both before and after the wedding.
Meghan isn't the first divorcee to marry into the Royal family #Camilla.
I wish them the best of luck. Let the haters choke on their own bile.
-
I didn't see nor hear any of it, either as it was happening nor on the news later - except at around 12.40 pm when I turned on the radio only to be greeted by 20 secs of silence on the radio and then a voice "Those whom God hath joined together..." at which point I turned it off and went back to gardening in a blissfully sunny and quiet village with no noise from mowing, or strimmers! They pealed the bells in the village - not sure if that was for them or coincidentally another wedding...
-
It was like the scene in The Sound of Music ........... serene, gentle, calm
-
Loved the Wedding too, anyone who missed it by choice or not, passed by an uplifting and happy occasion. I think millions of people thought the same.
It was beautiful, tasteful, and Megan is stunning! Harry is a lucky man.
Prince Charles showed great kindness and consideration to Megan's mother who must have found it all a little overwhelming.
Looking forward to sometime in the future, seeing their children, they I am sure going to be gorgeous.
-
With so many young couples just living together, this goes some way to promoting the idea of marriage.
-
Same for me I missed it too as we are five hours behind over here in the States and to be honest I was'nt much into the whole thing. Things have changed so much over the years with the Royals I have mixed feelings about this one but only time will tell.
-
I wasn't into it until 11.40 when I decided that I would rather watch it 'live' than see it on the evening News ;D and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.
