Title: left arm pain

Hi feeling very anxious lately, getting pain in left arm that  comes and goes but of course when this happens i panic and am convinced it's heart related,  could my hormones really cause all this

Best get it checked out to be on the safe side.  Try not to panic though - lots of other things can cause that type of pain, but when in doubt, make sure

I have hospital appointment for wednesday next to see heart specialist so hopefully will get all clear so i can stop worrying. I know deep down the pain is caused by anxiety but that doesn't stop the panic from setting in

Definitely get it checked out, but in my case, it was hormonal. I had a combination of severe shooting pains in arm, back ache and then tingling in my fingers. At the time it was very frightening.  MRIs etc showed nothing.

I had this years ago. Went to GP. Nothing untoward. Was put down to stress.

However, best to be checked. It's awful what anxiety, stress & hormones do to our bodies. Our minds run riot at what might be, which only increases the anxiety, the stress....
