Hi Ladies
Can anyone recommend a private menopause clinic / doctor in the Leeds / Yorkshire area. Alternatively an on-line service. I have looked at the Newson clinic but there is a 3 month waiting list. I particularly want a clinic that offers regular pelvic scans as I am progesterone intolerant so need to reduce the dose and would like regular scans to ensure no build up / thickness of endometrium. Does anyone else reduce the prog [urtogesan].

Hi, I decided to get help with an online clinic as I wasn't getting anywhere with my DR. I used the Online Menopause Centre and I've had the best experience. There were only appointments when I looked online that were a few weeks away! but I called to ask if they had anything sooner and they said they would call if they had a cancellation, which they did, the next day, so from finding them to speaking to one of their menopause Doctors was 3 days, and I received my HRT today. I hope you get help, I could have cried with relief after having my consultation last Friday, knowing things were going to get better.
She also gave me a referral for Bloods, Mammogram and pelvic ultrasound as I had said I was worried about going on HRT, so mainly just to put my mind at rest, that all is fine.

Can't advise on a specialist but you should be able to arrange scans yourself, I don't think you need a meno specialist to do it for you.
