Title: Weird episode today
Post by: PaulineW on July 29, 2014, 08:58:15 PM
This afternoon my right arm had the shakes which I have experienced before but felt awful I felt my whole body was tingling and my stomach was doing cartwheels , I had a cool bath and felt a little better . I have had a family matter which occur last weekend which was not nice but I think it may be part of the menopause ? X  :-\

Sounds a bit like anxiety/panic attack. These things can affect us all differently. Sometimes things overwhelm us & we're not sure what or how to relieve them. Seems like your cool bath helped.

It could have been an anxiety surge.  For me it feels like very hot water running through my veins really fast.  Scared me initially but I try to do deep breathing if it happens, usually at night.  Oh suppers ready, be back later

Right supper's done  ;)

If I have a bad anxiety attack which can last for hours, my body goes into the shakes, so badly sometimes that the bed moves  :-\.  A Psychologist once inferred that anxiety can't last for long because the body can't sustain it  >:( .........
