Ok, call me anal if you like but I have just changed the colour of my bathroom from aqua to blue and while it is still spanking new I would like to find bathroom products that are blue! I have searched what seems like the world and apart from head & shoulders, I cannot find a bottle of blue shampoo or conditioner. I thought this would be easy to do - not! Anyone got any ideas? Have manufacturers missed a trick here or am I the only one to try and match bathroom stuff to décor?

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner are sort of blue.
However, they may be a bit aqua. Google them and see what you think.
There is also a Faith in Nature for men Blue Cedar shampoo - haven't tried it but the label looks blue.
What are your views on lavender? Faith in nature do a Lander & Geranium range with a fetching lavender colour label.

Pro Voke do a range of blue shampoos but they are for blondes who want to tone down the colour of dyed hair. They are very very blue ::)

Hi Bramble,
I had similar problems with my new bathroom. I searched online and found some lovely deep blue glass decanting bottles. You know, like the travel ones you can buy for toiletries with the little pump thingy on top. I just buy my favourite shampoo and conditioner and decant it into my glass bottles.
Hope that made sense, got terrible brain fog today :-\

Go to antique fairs and source bottles then decant the product?
-
I would never think of co-ordinating stuff like that. Now I can't "unsee" my yellow shampoo against my blue bathroom tiles!!!

I redid my bathroom last year and bought a dispenser you wall mount. So it's in the shower with 3 compartments - shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. No bottles hanging around and looks neat and tidy - stainless still compartments so coordinates well. Think they are on amazon.
Failing that I would decant into a pretty bottle .

Herbal Essences hydrating shampoo and conditioner are a very pretty blue - gorgeous coconut smell too!! And I find it leaves my hair fabulously soft and manageable - thumbs up all round!!
-
Thank you Scampi - how did I manage to miss that one!
Sorry about that Taz - I am a bit OCD when colour matching! The novelty will wear off in a few months I am sure but for the moment it is Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner for me! Now if I had a cupboard in the bathroom that all that stuff could go into, that would be ok but most of my stuff is on display. Blue bubble bath is the easiest to find and so is blue toothpaste/toothbrush! Even my soap is blue - Arran aromatics I think.

I saw some lovely tall blue containers in a Charity Shop last week and thought of you. Should I have purchased of the same? ???
-
No, I am happy at the moment CLKD but it was nice of you to think about me.

Oh you are very welcome. They were nice bottles too ………. :P
-
You could always redecorate your bathroom in a colour that matches your favourite shampoo bottle ;)
-
Oh lord, don't even want to imagine what might happen if my shampoo and conditioner bottles were all the same colour - OH without his specs can barely find his own shampoo anyhow. ;D
hope you find nice blue bottles and don't get them mixed up!
-
I found myself rejecting a lovely strawberry smelling shampoo as my bathroom is white with blue border tiles. I must admit that OH does the shopping usually and always buys stuff on offer. I can't believe I am bothered by the colour of the bottle, but I am. He also appears unable to keep up with hairstyle/colour changes - I went blonde again last year after several years as a dark brunette. He has JUST started buying shampoo for colour treated hair!
-
Bless him Rebelyell. My hubby wouldn't even know such a thing existed ;D
Like oldsheeps hubby he can't see what's shampoo and what's conditioner. I have to show him before it goes in the shower cabinet ::)

Still getting used to my blue bathroom. The bottle of blue radox is proudly on display and trying to hide the non-blue shampoo behind it!

The Dove Deeply Nourishing range come in white bottles with Navy writing on them. Would that be close enough?

I like to co ordinate my kitchen. All my bits and bobs have to be red.....not washing up liquid but just about everything else.
My main bathroom has dark pink things, from the soap dispenser to the bath mat and towels. I bought little wicker baskets from eBay and filled them with matching dark pink things. They look really pretty. I've done the same in the shower room but all my bottles of stuff are in a caddy in the shower cabinet so it doesn't matter if they match or not.

Oh there's posh "My main bathroom ……. " ;D
Ours is cream with cork tiles on the floor - inside the very large shower cubicle is Mermaid Board in crimson with a splash of gold ……. 'corillian' red I think. So walls/towels/flannels - cream apart from the bath mats which R various shades of red ::)
-
Should have said my only bathroom ;D ;D.
Funny how men don't get the colour combination thing, well mine doesn't.

Nor does mine ..........

... nor me... ;D ;D

Fortunately, that applies to any dust that settles too :D
-
Dust :(, fluffy duster every week keeps on top of it. It's either that or don't move the ornaments then you don't notice ;D

That's exactly what I do …….. nothing gets moved. When I had a cat years ago and she left paw prints along the mantle shelf, I knew it was time to get the duster out: the next week I would use it ;D
