Title: Any budding musicians?
Post by: CLKD on May 03, 2024, 12:57:35 PM
Reading an article recently it would appear that there is a shortage of piano tuners - so if any1 knows of a musician who would like to diversify there are opportunities to travel around the UK as well as abroad.  Skills that need to be maintained despite the modern technology.

That won't tune the piano though.  I would love to play the drum roll in Nimrod ..........

Yep, I’m doing it right now  :whist:. Wouldn’t win a competition mind you  ;D
A while ago, I decided to have a go at the drums. We were in a band at the time. Hubby bought me a set. My idea was to be like Karen Carpenter- singing and playing at the same time. Blimey, it’s hard. Cue gumtree - sod that, I’ll just sing  ;D
