Title: Hello 👋
Post by: Babbling Brook on March 13, 2024, 10:13:11 AM
 Hi everyone,
I’m happy to join the forum today!
I’m 45 and have just completed my first month on Evorel Sequi.
A few days after starting it I began getting bad lower back pains - mostly while sitting in the car but ok when moving about. As the month went on these pains got more frequent and now run through my bottom and back of my thighs. It’s really painful - better when moving about but awful when sitting / driving / standing for too long.
My gynaecologist says this is a likely side effect as HRT stimulates the system and will hopefully settle down.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks 🙏

Hello

 :welcomemm:

My back is affected too. Just a dull ache most of the time. Until I move around. Its difficult to blame hrt for it, although it does state backache as a side effect.
Think it's just a side effect, like some ladies suffer headaches.  🤷‍♀️
Hopefully it'll settle for you. 🤞

Glad you've found us.

Xx

:welcomemm:  would taking pain relief ease the back problem?

Browse round.  Make notes.  Ask away ........

Thank you for the replies, yes I’m hoping it’s just a temporary side effect - and taking ibuprofen and using heat packs..xx
