39 years ago today I met my lovely husband! Met at a disco in Paisley, called Valentino's. What a cheesy name for a nightclub!  ;D He walked me home - some 4 miles or so. Said he'd pick me up a few nights later. I wasn't sure he would as he wasn't exactly sober when I met him   :drunk: But he did & we've been together ever since. He's been my rock & I wouldn't change him for anything, even with his odd flaws. Well none of us are perfect.

 :congrats: There are some amazing wonderful men out there! Could you live with someone who is perfect? I don't think I could. How would they cope with my many imperfections? Real love is when you love them as they are. I do hope you are celebrating.

No big celebrations. Couple of drinks maybe, Strictly & I'm a Celebrity. How times have changed.  ;D

Oh I do hope I still impress. Bought veal for tea and it was pants! Tough as old boots. Tesco finest it was not. Ah well. We're going for meal next Friday though, so will celebrate properly then. Weird how my two met their other halves in November too. Daughter & her partner 12 years ago, son & his 7 years ago. Must be the month of love.  ;)

Mind you it was better in those days.

Sometimes things are just meant to be and this was one of them.

It's never been a nice place. It looks worse now though. Hubby & I even went to same school, two years apart. We lived at opposite ends of Paisley too. Never knew him then, which he says is just as well or we'd never have got together. I transformed him apparently. Pass me the sick bucket.  ;D
