Title: Palpatations
Post by: Jean Sedgwick on August 20, 2018, 08:05:47 AM
Hi all, I'm new to this forum and page, I was wondering if anyone else suffers with heart pallatations, skipper beats ( extra beats) if nit, then it's something else I need to worry about 😨

Hi Jean - yes palpitations are listed as a menopausal symptom but as Daisydot says it is always worth getting yourself checked out. It's always wise to rule out anything else.

I found the only thing that gets rid of mine is HRT. On the two occasions I have had to stop taking it the palpitations returned. It's strange because, although they were a nuisance when I was originally getting them, I hadn't really noticed that they'd gone until they came back if that makes sense!
