Title: Hrt gel
Post by: Pennyfarthing on August 02, 2022, 09:38:45 AM
Anybody on HRT gel?  My GP has never suggested this to me but maybe it could be a way forward.
She doesn’t want me to stay on pills and patches keep falling off.

Have you tried Estradot patches? They stick so well and are small. Always ensure that the skin is clean and dry, free from any cream before sticking it on. Put your hand over for 30 sec to fix it. This works perfectly for me.
I tried Sandrena gel and it was fine, patch seem to be better for me but many ladies are happy on gel.

I have used Oestrogel for 6 years. I react to the adhesive in patches.

My GP mentioned Estradot  but says she cannot get it as she checked before my appointment.

Yes,  sadly it's difficult to get hold of Estradot at the moment, my pharmacy had to reorder each day for 2 weeks until they finally got it.
