Hi Ladies
Can anyone tell me what these feelings are that I have been experiencing??
Usually it feels like a build up in my lower stomach (a feeling not a thought) like a hot pocker which spreads, the more it spreads the more the anxiety builds. once it reaches a climax I feel this utter feeling of dread as if Im going to lose controle >:( The it dies down. I have experienced panic attacks before but these feel different. With a panic attack it usually follows a thought and I don't get the burning that builds in my stomach prior to the feeling.
Continue with 2.5 Oestrogel per day. I am post menopause age 61.
Thank you Wx

Hi
I know exactly the feeling! I think it is anxiety but it comes out of the blue. I sometimes feel like my heart is going to explode then it just vanishes.

Could be a hot flush? A build up which pops and leaves you weak and then you come down from it.

Sounds definitely like an adrenaline surge, I had that and hadn't a clue what it was, I couldn't even explain it to the dr apart from saying it was like butterflies or really nervous kind of feeling but after a while and like clkd says,a hot flush would come,so don't worry,it is scary but that's what it sounds like
