Title: Weird dreams!
Post by: LoriPA on November 27, 2017, 02:38:40 AM
My sleep patterns have considerably improved since starting norethindrone (Sharobel, to be specific) two weeks ago; however, I've been having dreams that can only be described as weird! :o

Everything from dead relatives, places I've never been, people I've never met in person (but know about them through other channels), talking animals, flying, the list goes on.

Has anyone else experienced similar while on HRT or is this just happening because I'm sleeping better? :-\

I've had wierd dreams both on and off HRT, and I get snatched out of a vivid dream very quickly that makes me also have a wierd vibration affect. However the content of the dreams are not 'normal' and can range from noises shapes and colours, to just a feeling of not being quite part of a dream like I used to be. It's almost like you are semi conscious.
Think it's definitely a meno thing!

Yep.  I opened a thread on this topic years ago  ::)

My brain picks up something from the evening News: mixes it with people I haven't thought of or seen in over 30+ years; has a good route round ........ last night my JR was killed in a road accident, well actually, she died at home - naturally!

Last night my brain was very depressed, in half-sleep I could feel it.   However, in the dreams people were telling me that I wasn't depressed, that no way should I be having depression because ........... I was searching for people to help me: friends to give me a cuppa, GPs to talk me through how I was feeling.  No one would help  :-\

Fortunately, I'm OK in the day-time.

Ive had weird dreams for a fair few months now. Didn't think anything of it at first but then put 2&2 together and realised it's when my hormones are fluctuating.
I've had some bizarre dreams, lots that I've woken up and remembered (which I don't normally do) lots that I've woken up and wondered what on earth! Some that have made me sob in my dream and I've woken up sobbing too.
It's got to be another weird peri symptom.

I'm on different medications which doesn't help.   Last night it was a dream similar to those I've had B4 ........ fortunately on waking my brain ins't depressed.

I've been having weird dreams through peri but I also had weird dreams when I was pregnant, so obviously hormones yet again!

Lots of weird dreams this week.
Woke earlier feeling really leaden.  Head wouldn't wake up.  Limbs wouldn't move.  Took ages to even think about waking properly. The dream was illogical ........... I woke knackered!

In the night I was busy.

DH and I were sitting on an old wall in the sunshine.  Far in the distance we could see Billy Connolly [I saw a photo of him in the national papers on Friday], he walked close enough to throw jewellery into the crowd.  I caught a piece then a security guard came to take it back  ::).  Billy came to chat to our 'row' and I reminded him that he had been to a Fairport Reunion - he couldn't remember until I mentioned Cropredy 1991 [it was 1989].

Next DH and I were climbing a wall and found a set of un-occupied flats [Will Millard in Wales].  We decided that if we could carry a few bits of furniture over the wall that we could set up residence until we found a property to buy  :-\.  Have no idea where other than North of Chester.  Lots of people were walking below the wall ........... we then found ourselves at another concert where large sacks were being handed out 4 people to put money into, presumably for charity - then the bags were snatched back as it wasn't certain that the monies would get to the Charities.  On and on and ......... I'm knackered!

Last night I ended up in the US  :o.  Apparently I had a friend from there, we had worked together for 3 months and I went to the airport to see her leaving. I have no recollection of the flight nor landing but I was in a stretch limo., belonging to her family.  I don't have a Passport, how would that work  :D

She took me into this HUGE mansion of a place, dashed up some stairs "I'll show you 2 your room" then I didn't see her throughout the dream.  Nor could I find my room  :-\.  At various states there was a large kitchen with people milling about including apparently her Mother - DH arrived at that point and was put to work carrying trays of drinks for this woman - "I worried about where you were" he told me.  The place was vast.

Eventually we were trying to find a taxi so walked miles along a pavement he was carrying his kit bag.  We came across a hall with 'antiques', "I must pop in there B4 we go to the airport".  Yeah. Right  ;D by now I was looking for a loo  :-\.  Everything of course was priced in dollars there was one dealer who apparently knew us and greeted us like old friends  :o and who eventually offered us a lift to the airport.

I gradually woke up then needing the loo.  There was a lot more besides the above, mainly looking for a bathroom or the way to my bedroom .... rows and rows of long corridors with wooden flooring lined with French antique furniture ...... at one time I was going along muttering "that's fake"  :D.  There were acres of staircases leading nowhere.  One went outside into an over-grown garden with a folly ....... then a tall wall so we couldn't get out.  I felt trapped there.

I'm so glad I found this thread haha! I was beginning to think I was losing my mind with all the weird dreams I've been having! I have always had vivid dreams but lately they've become completely bizarre, so it's good to know that I'm not the only one. I have a lot of recurrent dreams too about being in places that I don't know in real life but they're always the same in my dreams and so I know my way around. I'll be shopping or walking through cities, or sitting on a beach and watching the waves, or swimming in a river that runs through that particular place. The places don't even have names but it's as if I know them inside out and they never change from dream to dream. Maybe I am losing it!  ;) ;D

Nope.  I also fly - always over the Pier at Aberystwyth  ;D

In the dream there was an octopus, one room in the mansion was put over to large tanks of various types of fish - a woman plucked it off the bottom of the tank and flung it at me, it landed on my head  :sick02: and the tentacles were hanging over my face  :sick02: :sick02: - like people hate spiders, I have a 'thing' about octopiiii ......... she refused to take it off telling me that it wanted a cuddle.  Eventually someone else walked by and peeled it off  :(

It's the other way round.  I have very busy, involved, illogical dreams and wake exhausted  ::).  I am on various medication which may be the cause as well as a restless childhood.

Last night I was packing - I moved to a holiday property with cases, when I came to travel away those cases had disappeared so I was putting items into supermarket carrier bags.  So nothing was in an order I could understand.  I couldn't find my vehicle nor DH.  It was alternately sunny, hot and drizzling  ::).  The dream went on and on and .......

Busy again last night.  Cleaning toilets  :-\  :o

Started in a large room where DH and I were staying.  Also a camp site outside and the rooms/campers shared a two-cubicle toilet block.  When I went into the loo there was a flyer in the bowl under which was  :o  :-X.  I looked for a brush.  Nowt.  The other loo was dirty too.  Later on there was a whole newspaper in the loo impossible to fetch out with no brush.

Then I was trying to pack a van.  No cases.  Lots of carrier bags.  I put everything on the bed in the large room, in order - came back to find DH stuffing carrier bags so I didn't know what was in which bag.   :-\

Last night I was at a Zoo.  Stemming from reading an article about 2 Siberian tigers being imported into the UK.

SO: I am walking through a narrow concrete corridor with fencing on one side.  Quite wide gaps in the fencing.  Could hear voices.  Got chatting to a keeper who told me not to touch any of the creatures as they weren't sure what they were: these had been brought in from a country [that I had never heard of] for investigation.  A Vet wouldn't give them an anaesthetic incase they didn't survive.

"But if they die as least you have the opportunity of doing a PM to find out exactly what they comprise of".  Then one scuttled up behind me, from how she had spoken I expected something the size of a double mattress  ;D but this was like a small mop.  Kind of golden coloured.  Suddenly I was wearing green Wellies and the girl was quite worried that this mop was going to bite, hard.  So I stood still.  It sniffed my Wellie then wrapped itself across the top and settled down, snoring  ......... she went off to get a camera and I bent down [as I would  ::)] and gave it a tickle behind it's ear.  Yep, it has ears.  It began to wriggle and make contended noises.

What ever it was, it was lonely  :-\. By the time she returned it was on my shoulder, snoring ........ there were other bits to this dream but I'll leave it for now  :D

Mine are nearly always me alone sometimes people and places from my past are in there, sometimes they make sense other times not, I can wake in pure panic or tears sometimes. I guess it depends how my brain processes things x

Last nights was a good night, I was walking along a beach I have no idea where as there were no buildings just sand dunes and it was so vivid it was like I was there, the warmth of the sun was probably a hot flush though, but the rest was lovely and it gave me hope as I haven't been able to go to a beach for over a decade, but it's what I crave so much because the weather is picking up, I'm guessing my brain gave me a taster of normality and life outside of these 4 walls and it made a nice change from the scary ones I've been having recently x

Excuse me for waffling on CLKD x

My brain was at it again last night

My younger sister has been the golden girl.  In the dream last night Mum told me to keep my sister in the house once she got back from her Sat. job.  Mum and Dad were going to see new people in the village 'cos Mum wanted to 'get in' with them  :-\.  Now I know that nothing I said then nor could I say now would encourage my sister to take any notice of me  >:(.  Which is something Mum is still aware of.  In my dream I went to talk to Dad who apparently understood my dilemma "When she leaves the shop, if she knows that you and Mum are away, she will go straight out and smoke and who knows what with the boys".  But he didn't say anything to either Mum nor my sister  :-\.  Of course, that's what happened.  Sister waltzes in, gets changed and then goes out saying "You can't make me do what anyone wants, only Mum can say anything".

She was still out the my parents returned and I got it in the ear  :'( ....... but Dad by then had disappeared from the scene.

I have always had ‘far out' dreams.  Always used to be worse pre menstrual.
I think I have kinda worked it out (or not!!)
During sleep your brain ‘downloads' it is slotting stuff into files and files have to be opened to put new stuff it,
So stuff you thought you'd forgotten about gets brought back and jumbled up with new stuff, also stuff you've seen on tv, chucked in with reality.
I have had some crackers, things like being Elizabeth 1st spy, present at the armada, and other really bizarre stuff LOL
Sounds nuts - but that's my theory.
Sounds like nothing wrong, you are not going mad - just accept it for what it is - a download

Busy.  Involved.  Dreams  >:( - always about packing: snakes, weeds, clothing, books ....... in different situations.  I think that it's because we are between properties  :-\ but I wake so TIRED and it takes until mid-afternoon for my head to clear.

There's been a lot in the press about boa constrictors being let loose so in one dream DH had found one: walked 2 miles to the shop for a box and back to coax it into.  Next bit of the dream, my Dad had found somewhere to house it with some people who kept snakes [he knew a man who did in the 1960s]; we were driving on a bit of road I know well, he was chatting away about how these people would look after it.

Last night I was at a camp site in various types of 'van: they kept changing size and design  ::) no wonder I couldn't fit everything into the drawers/cupbaords  >:(.  I had suitcases all over the field, books in piles outdoors; watching the clouds in case it rained, piles of old blankets which needed to go a rag company  :-\ then Dad drove off with my camper as he had plans to alter it  :bang: NNOOO - Mum had no idea where he had gone so I took off on foot ......... he was hours B4 he returned.  The piles of blankets kept increasing from 5 - 11, books kept growing then falling over  :-\

Knackered this morning.  My brains had a party again: train journeys, dogs on leads that kept breaking in busy streets, carrier bags which kept bursting as I was about to step into the train, driving down a 1-way street the wrong way [not me but the driver] ...... more puppies running off, people getting in my way .....

They sound amazing...
I've always been a florid dreamer, particularly in the run up to periods ( when prog is at its highest).
Probably a combo of sleeping better (lucky you) and the progesterone.
Unless they are really disturbing- I would leave alone particularly if you are feeling better overall.
My Nan always said and I go with it as well - “dreaming is filing your life and thoughts in order”

Last night I was busy.  My parents had sold their property and the new people were waiting to move in.  Contracts had been exchanged and it was completion day but my parents simply didn't get it.  Everything was still in the property.

They decided to drive round to see if any for sale places looked interesting enough to buy.  They found a bungalow [which I kind of recognised] and Dad managed to open the door.  Inside was devastation, there had been a burst tank in the roof space - most of which had disappeared.  "I'll get a tarpaulin" says Dad, which meant that he had to drive away.  He got out his tape measure and began working out how much he would need as well as measuring up for curtains and carpets  :-\.  A couple arrived and wanted to know why we were in their bungalow.  "You need some help" says Dad.

I then said that a) people were waiting to move into their house and b) this had already been sold.  My parents didn't seem to get that they needed to go to an Agents.  "Your Dad can shin up on the roof with a few tiles Dear".  No, it will take more than tiles, there will be a need for struts etc..  "You will need scaffolding" says I.  "Your Dad won't need scaffolding Dear, he can shin up a ladder to do that".  "Think about Insurance then, it's the Law these days Mum".  Dad by now had aged and was looking a little bit worried at my suggestions.

"You've been reading too many magazines Dear.  Those people don't know about any Laws!" ....... Then some friends of theirs turned up with a hurriedly written list of cons ........ like the niehhbours' oil tank was in one of the barns belonging to the bungalow.  They had other concerns but I was unable to read the scribble  ::) but 1 was that Plans had been submitted behind the bungalow for 200 houses.  "They won't do that!" says Mum ....... scornfully.

This went on and on and ............ at one point I was walking a dog along a very narrow road, it had been left in the bungalow  :-\.  I had at one time 3 siblings  :o all who kept quiet except one, who backed Mum up every time she told me 'Dear'.

"Where will you live whilst you do up the bungalow, you might need to factor in storage for the furniture and someone to stay, bearing in mind that there's no roof?"  Mum's reply was that they could put all their items into the garage 'at home'.  No Mum, it's not home any more, you have sold it  :bang: :bang: :bang: - "They won't mind Dear" ............  Knackered this morning  :-\

 :-\ >sigh<

I have never in all the years since I passed my test driven more than 70 miles on my own.  That was once when we bought a new vehicle and DH was in front leading the way.  I had to drive him home from Hospital once, he was quite dopey but not dopey enough to pass comments  ;D

Last night I apparently ended up in Preston.  Now that is hours from where I live ......... Mum had been rushed into Hospital and transferred to Preston.  DH was doing something important  :-\ so I set off alone.  Managed absolutely fine, kept to the left side of the country [apparently] and followed the signs - visited Mum in hospital then set off to come back.  The Hospital was the one where I worked which wasn't in Preston.

I could see signs but when I got to the posts, they were blank.   :-\. I had no idea where I was.  I went to buy a road atlas but was told that every one has sat naps these days  :-\.  I bought some sandwiches and decided to ask a Police man to plot my route home.  Couldn't find one.  Parked on double yellows.  Still no one in authority  >:(

I couldn't ring DH and kept worrying about him worrying about where I was as Preston had never been on the radar .......... at one point I was driving through Milan  :o down a one-way street  :-\

I tried to wake but couldn't move for 40 mins. I was leaden.  *what* was that all about  :o

For years my dream has consisted of forgetting to give a months notice to leave work.  Then my job disappears, the Hospital is altered internally so I can't find my way around  :-\ which means I spent hours wandering.  Add to that looking for my Dad  :-\ along those corridors and other meanderings: this morning I woke not knowing what day it is and really fuzzy ......

Knackered this morning  :'(

In the night we bought a large double fronted property.  Small garden with brick wall and metal gate leading to a front door, which kept changing colour.  Inside was lovely and I walked around planning where our furniture would go.  I then opened a door on my right into a scullery area - not on the Agent's plans.  There was a door from that room to a garden which was very narrow with lots of gates, through which I wandered trying to plan appropriately.  Will there be an orchard here, or patio for sitting out - all had high walls or hedges.  Through the last high wooden gate was a run down yard with old garages ......... were they ours, or the use of the Council owners in that area?

At one point Dad was giving advice about which area would be suitable for what ....... [he was good on advice!]

From the back of the main house were double doors leading onto a walled garden with patio, lawn, small orchard.  Metal gates [Canons' Ashby] looking beyond.  Then suddenly a road and bright red post box appeared outside the metal gates ........ I'd been looking for a post box.   ::)

I have walked miles in the night and woke absolutely shattered.

Last night I was clearing a property: DH and I had been to stay at my Grandma's house and initially I was packing our belongings into our car which kept changing: from very small to an estate then to a 4 door .......

As the dream went on I found more and more items of ours: but had no idea how they got thee.  I kept thinking "I must take this in case ... " but the suitcases were full to overflowing and there weren't any cardboard boxes.  So I put items in piles in order of sentiment.  DH was talking to someone in the distance who turned out to be our sister in law who kept trying to show me things.  "I must show you this B4 U leave" and "Have I shown you this in the past?"

I felt rushed.  We had 'to get on' but I don't know why  :-\.  She then found something of DH's which she picked up and I knew he would be less than pleased.  That's when I began muttering, so much that DH woke me gently.    The dream was a mix of sorting, piling, packing, feeling rushed, angry ........

In the night I was sitting in bright sunshine on a high bank over a wide river watching working dogs.  There was a family near us with a chocolate working cocker, raring to go [a situation from 1998]. Somehow she slipped her collar and did a perfect dive in the water, got in a muddle for a while but swam out of the current OK: up the bank, retrieved the dummy and swam back to her owners. Who were less than impressed.

Later in the dream I found the owner sitting with her back to the wall and Millie laying quietly.  It turns out that she had no control over the dog and I found myself saying "You want to give her up then?" and already anxiety was rising.  I agreed to take the dog on for further training all the while feeling more and more anxious.

I woke with that same old gut wrenching feeling  :'(

I was walking up and down a street in Aberystwyth .......... carrying boxes.  At one point there was clothing and piles of towels in one corner of a room  :-\ and when I pulled them apart there was mould.  "I was looking for these for months" ........ I think that I was moving from one flat to another, at one point I was carrying brown paper bags which were damp at the bottom so items kept falling out.  Small, tiny things ....... no one helped me pick anything up.

I found a roof top terrace  :-\ and a rack of clothing in the sunshine ..........  then I was here, with two men in yellow hard hats walking across the front garden despite a 'no entry' sign - they looked at each other then at me and said "That isn't meant for us is it?" and walked across, I woke shouting "GET OFF MY GARDEN!"

Knackered now  :-\

I have been so busy in the last 2 nights  >:(

Last night: it was cows.  In our garden.  Which is here but wasn't laid out as it is now but as it was when we moved here in 1983.  I could hear DH talking to someone and could see a brown cow wandering.  The other cows were being escorted back to the fields which were miles away  :o.  The farmer was having problems with this one, she wandered into our utility room and mooed.  He tried to shoulder her out the door but she wasn't budging.  I got a length of dog lead which kept altering in size/length/strength.  Made a halter and led her to the gate and she turned towards the fields, no problems.

Until I got to the field, in what seemed hours later.  Her pals were there so she tried to run .......... eventually she shed the halter which I picked up, in the grass was a pair of tweezers  ;D, a round sweetie tin, a long needle ........ my Granny was there at times: cows passed her gateway twice a day to and from the field to the milking parlour: I was looking for my Dad  :-\

oh this is a thing then. I've always been prone to spells of intense dreams but they seem to have been constant these last few weeks as my HRT kicks in

Last night I managed to miss my train down to see my family, get my phone locked whilst trying to text my Mum to let her know, and whilst I was on a bus trying to sort my phone out, an announcement came over the radio that HM The Queen had died.

I'm technically sleeping better than before but lots and lots of anxiety based dreams instead

Still knackered.  I know my mind is upset by what is happening/not where Mum stays.  Also being bullied on FB.  Lack of contact from the manager of the home where Mum stays rattles my dreams too.

Last night I was looking for my Dad  :-\.  I had found a large spider with glitter on it's legs  ::) and knew that Dad would know the book to look in for identification.  Later I was re-packing boxes and cases: again  ??? :  How was it that nowt fitted ! even though it had all come out of the various cases  >:(.  I knew that I was on a dead line.

If I sleep in the day I rarely dream.

I am knackered!  We never entertain ......... in my dream we had double the garden and kitchen space.  People were milling.  Someone mentioned having seen a snake in the garage.  So out came the car, camper van, 'stuff' and there, under a hessian sack were 5 broken eggs and a grass snake.   No sign of the little'uns.   :o. I was goosebumps all the way through the dream.

The dream followed this snake for hours ........ eventually someone picked it up and tossed it across the road and it slithered away.  Then people began playing instruments in that large garden - no one seemed to worry about annoying the neighbours  :-\.  It went on and on and ............

R U sitting comfortably  ;D

Last night: DH and I were walking the village in bright sunshine, met people we don't see often.  "This is the last time we will speak" says I.  Explaining that "On Monday we are flying to Barbados, we've bought a fully furnished mansion there".  This is a person remember who baulks at booking a hotel room in Devon  :'(

We arrived at the Mansion.  It has 24 bedrooms  :o, the rest of the rooms altered throughout the dream as did the views.  It was furnished with 14th, 15th, 16th Century wall hangings, furniture etc.; the idea was to clear one large room to put anything that we wanted to keep whilst the antique 'experts' (from the Road Show no less  ::)) gave advice.  Sadly the 'experts' thought that clearing the grounds was part of the deal  :o  >:( so trees hundreds of years old were being taken down.  One 'expert' kept saying "Did U know that you have a piece. of X, Y, Z" ......... with a big smile.  Well nope.  :D

So it went on.  And on.  And ........... local people kept popping in asking for items 'because Granny worked here'.  Oh the stuff  ;D.  It was all due to be shipped to London for sorting and selling .......... I think I need to get out more   I was knackered though as I hadn't finished the dream when I woke  :-\

Knackered again  :-\

Dreaming about my dog, she was having a 'Buddhist' Service so was under a thick rug ............ the person presiding kept referring to her as a terrier-type  >:(. In the end I stood up, removed the rug, lifted her up and told him in no uncertain terms: "you should learn your dog breeds B4 you go playing on peoples' emotions!" and walked away.

Then I lost her ......... in long grass.  I could see her across a field, miles away ......... (old events recurring)  :'(

Really busy last night and still feel knackered  :-\

Two years ago we sold my parents' property: Dad died in 2006 but in the dream he wanted to go back to the house, I tried to explain that he couldn't as it was no longer his.  Mum had a key hidden in her handbag so they were able to access, move all the furniture into the garage and put their own back inside.  Some of that furniture was in reality long gone! the rest was sold in situ.  The new owner (who we've never met) came back to be amazed that Dad was digging over the garden  ::) as well as 'how did you get in?'  Several people arrived in different vehicles: I was then explaining to Dad how Estate Agents operate as it was obvious that we had to move on.

Every time I showed a property to them, Mum (in care for 4 years) was an instant "I couldn't. live there".  I asked Dad quietly whether there was anywhere that he liked when they were on their travels - over the years they spent months in their caravan across the UK - he didn't know.  "Anyway, you can't find properties anywhere else from here".  It took a bit of explaining exactly how!

The dream went on in the same vein for hours  :-\.

I wake weary every morning. Last night it was dogs/kittens/stick insects.

I suddenly became the owner of a working black lab and a yellow one which had been loving life on a small fishing vessel, preferring to stand at the front with ears flapping - however windy it was.   ;D. He was as good as gold but the black, much younger and bouncier would run off .........

A small cat appeared in the dream, completely baled on top with red spots.  She wasn't upset, simply baled.  It was a Sat, I rang the Vet surgery for an appt and was told, "Mrs X, there aren't any appts. today, we close at 2.00.  Put Vaseline on it's bare skin and we'll see you on Monday".  Puzzled as it wasn't a voice that I recognised and how did she know my name  :o  :-\.  So I drove there with the cat 'to be seen' - which she was - given Vits and some skin treatment.

So it went on; walking dogs; the yellow lab found a small bearded dragon in a shrub that had escaped from a child; checking cats in the barn ..... we don't have a barn  ::).  A bit of worry at times otherwise quite a nice dream.

I've had an almost repetitive dream in recent weeks.  Setting up a concert in which I am supposed to be singing but I can't remember the words  :'(.  My brain is trying to find excuses for me to get out of the concert.

All night DH and I have been moving chairs, tables, sheepskin rugs and blankets for people to put round them even though it is going to be inside: in a barn at the bottom of our garden: the house is ours but the garden isn't - walking through our patio into an orchard to find the barn     :-\.    I am knackered  :(.  I wake with head still working out how to not perform .........

Performers in our bedroom in various stages of undress, preparing.  No audience.

All morning the music has been ear worming ......... without words.

Knackered.  After 2.5 hours awake, sneezing I dropped into a busy dream.  Princess Anne was helping to smarten me up, clothes shopping with me.  I was trying to colour co-ordinate but the items kept changing ...........  :-\.  there was as always a lost dog involved.  I couldn't find my mobile.  Etc. etc. etc..  :-\

Frogs. Plants.  Laundry.  Tea making - no wonder I'm knackered!

Started in a garden centre where there were very small frogs for sale: so DH bought me 1 which kept jumping out of my hand.  We eventually found a glass jar from which it kept crawling ..... landed on the floor several times  :o until it became squashed by another shopper  :'(.  I did tell the girl at the till to get containers in which to sell them .......

We wandered into the garden centre plant section and met with friends not seen for over 50 years.  DH disappeared, bringing back some sheets of ours and a large towel  :-\ which he proceeded to hang over the horizontal tight wires, meant for hop vines to grow along.  Those friends turned into a couple not seen for 15 years ..........

DH and I then found ourselves on a ridge, similar to Hadrian's Wall.  He pointed to a farmhouse in the valley which we were supposed to have visited ages ago: I had no memory but he led me there to meet a man about our age who remembered him.  The man then began making tea, as in a Japanese ceremony  :-\.   Go figure

CLKD your dreams are bonkers....poor you. I've just had 2 good night's sleep which then means vivid dreams again. When I wake up I sit there trying to work out what on earth was going on.
Last night there was a lady who was covered head to toe in sugar puffs, she had clingfilm wrapped around to keep the sugar puffs in place.
What is that all about??

Thank goodness I'm not alone  :o.

We have frogs in our pond - later this year so there's been a lot of discussion
We spend a lot of time in garden centres and I have a list  ;)
Years ago we lived in part of a Georgian Mansion where there was a long linen line - hence him hanging laundry
The latter couple I am in touch with via e-mail
No idea about the ridge or the tea ceremony though  :-\

Well where the H*** come from  >:(.  Snakes.  Everywhere.

DH and I have appts for various vaccines this year: in my dream he went in first, being told that the jab would delivered by a thin black snake.  He had to sit completely still as the snake was inserted into a nostril, the action of finding itself in the dark would trigger its fangs.  How the fangs were to be extracted we weren't told  :-\

The next jab was to be given by a python ......... it was HUGE and very pretty, although it had begun to shed its skin which. makes snakes grumpy.  As DH left that room it followed him  :o  :o .  "Next".  Nope, I was well on my way out of there  :o :o :o

Kittens.  Everywhere - aged from 4 weeks to 8-9 weeks.  No sign of a Mummy Puss.  They were under a hut in our garden; which wasn't here.  I rang various rescue charities to be told that to lodge a kitten for rehoming would cost £3,000 - each  :o.

I'm trying to give you kittens, not buy any  >:(.  The dream went on and on and ........... then there was an Alsation involved, which kept changing age: from adult, to pup, to being growly then pulling on the lead ..........

Last night I was sorting C.mas baubles.  In July the tree was still decorated  ;D so I had found boxes of all sizes but nothing fitted in the boxes  :o.  There were other incidents in the dream that I could relate to seeing in the day which weaved their way into the boxes of baubles  ;D

Lego.   ;D

When growing up in the Fens we were familiar with acres of daffs followed by acres of tulips ........ all grown for the bulbs.  As far as the eye could see :-)))  :-* 8)

Daffs to be picked for market, tulip flowers taken apart to use on the Floats for the Spalding Flower Show.

In my dream I could see lines of colour, disappearing into the horizon  ......... to be told that it was Lego, not tulips  :-\.

Last night: A couple of Asian men sought shelter in our porch as the rain was hammering it down. They were dressed in smart suits, well spoken, on their way somewhere .....  DH was watching a 📺 program and didn't seem to notice when the men moved into the lounge and began talking on mobiles.  Then 5 more Asian men arrived, it was still raining.

Further along some more people arrived, walked into our dining room [which was twice as large as it really is]; and began a Conference  :-\.  DH continued watching 📺.  He didn't seem aware of what was happening  ::).  I didn't supply tea/coffee etc.  There was more but it's gone from my memory .........

My brain has been working overtime in recent weeks  ;D

One dream was about camping.  Now I've never dug a pit in which to sleep but I was very busy, digging, digging, digging; to be told that it wasn't deep and wide enough  ::). DH went off to collect leaves ........ but the ground was muddy so I suggested buying a butyl liner [we have a fish pond] to lay in first followed by newspaper then the leaves.

A waterproof frame was to be built to protect from wind/rain/sleet etc..  But no1 could find any bamboo [why ] poles to set it up on.  Now we haven't camped under canvas for over 12 years, having graduated to a camper van  ;D

The other dream ...... involved my Dad who died in 2006.  Boxes.  Packaging.  Emptying, filling, searching ..........

The other night: not in this house, but a couple arrived on the door step with their suit cases and 4 dogs.  To stay as they were having a new extension and roof.  NO! we don't do visitors overnight  ;D. We knew them over 40 years ago with no contact since!  How did they know where we live ?

But we suddenly had a spare room next to the utility room so they decided to stay there.  However: [a neighbour had a new laundry machine] : I was struggling with piles of laundry to sort and worried about the noise of the spinner waking up the visitors  ::).  I'm precious about our laundry so when 1 of the couple offered to help sort the laundry  :o  :-[ ..... the dream went on and on and .........  I was knackered when I woke.

Now of course I have no idea who that couple were  ::)

I've been looking for a Doctor to talk to in my recent dreams ......... my brain is quite depressed  :-\, I think due to lots to do outside but the weather keeps putting a halt to my Plans  >:(.  As well as an extra chore of making up vine weevil killer as every pot inside and out has weevils in  >:(  :-\

Recently my brain wakes depressed.  Also I am aware of not remembering things ........  :-\

I couldn't remember the word for 'printer cartridges' today.
Recently I saw a Rag Doll cat where I wasn't expecting it: now I can't remember which lane in the village it was.

3 months ago we went to see our GP but I can't remember why.  Recently I ordered meds twice, because I had forgotten that I had taken my repeat script into the Pharmacy.  It goes on ...... but I can't remember what's been bothering me.  It springs to mind that I ought to make an appt with the GP but if he/she did sums tests it wouldn't show anything because I've never been able to add up etc..

Our neighbours go away every 6 weeks, staying in the same Hotel and I can't remember where to  :-\.
