Title: Home and Away fans?
Post by: bramble on April 24, 2013, 09:07:51 PM
Are there any Home and Away fans among us? I don't know anyone apart from myself who watches this! so no-one I can discuss it with.
I see we are going to lose 2 of the regulars shortly. Grief! The Romeo storyline is a bit of a shocker!
I wish Marilyn would find a good man! It's time something nice happened to her. I thought Sid was the one but that came to naught unfortunately. Mind you, they were terribly mismatched.

I'm a Neighbours fan, its the only Soap I have ever followed and have watched it since it started, could never get into Home and Away.

We lost two main characters last week :'(

I used to watch it when at home with youngest son, I loved the tune.  Don't watch now, can't believe Marilyn is still in it though!  I think she was in love with the school head teacher when I watched?

Sorry waffling again  ::) - I dont' get my thoughts onto the paper  >:(

My parents argued constantly.  My sister was only friendly with me when she wanted something.  My mother is a narcacist (sp) so all the highs and lows, as in the current 'soap operas', were already being played out at home in the 1960s/70s  :-\

I think if you did not have a body under the patio......a murder or kidnap or some teenage pregnancies. Not to mention blackmail and a bit of dodgy dealings then it would not make the soaps CLKD.

It's all in them these days.

Even the Archers have got very racy....

I did watch Dallas for years, because Terry Wogan had it 'running' every morning so I dropped in one week to have a look-see  ;D  .......... that Bobby was a dazzler  ;) .........

I listen to the Archers on a Sunday morning on my way down to mum's.

I have been known to drive round the block if it was a good episode.

Mind you I get into trouble if I am a bit late and if it's over ten minutes she used to call my OH to see when I had left the house.

I really like the Archers.
