I am so relieved to have found this forum! I am in early menopause as I began this process at the age of 42 when I started skipping periods. My period stopped completely a year later and my doctor officially said I was in menopause last year. I have hot flashes and just recently joint and arm pain. I never knew menopause could cause so many physical symptoms. All I ever knew about was hot flashes. My doctor provided no insight and I had a female doctor! I don't like to take medication so if anyone knows of a homeopathic way to deal with this, it would be much appreciated. God bless!

Witches Cat:
Hello again, I was so pleased to find these posts, since I was on here several years back my knee joints have become quite painful. It wasn't helped last week by falling over some planters at the back of our pond and going "base over apex" polite way of putting it and landing on my knees and one elbow on the concrete slabs. Prior to that I was getting on reasonably well, I take glucosamine and omega 3 oils, plus a few other bits and bobs but the pain from my knees is worse when I'm stressed and I didn't really connect it with meno. I shall be 70 in November and thought it was arthritis as my mother had 2 new hips and 2 new knees. It scares me that this might be the path i'm gonna have to take further down the line. I stay away from the medics as I have a bad phobia of doctors etc,  The more I worry  the worse I feel, the worse I feel the more hot flushes hit me,  catch 22. I also rub in ibuprofen gel and take paracetamol when nec but to be honest its a real job to keep it at bay. I shall check back to see how you are all doing.
