Yep.  For some reason anxiety surges may become worse at peri.  Eating regularly can ease symptoms, i.e. every 3 hours - 24/7.

Is there a Nurse Practitioner at your Surgery who U might B able 2 C sooner?  3 weeks is a long time, my surgery has an on-line triage system - messages are read 3 times a day so that appts or phone calls can be arranged.

When R the surges worse, mine are usually in the early hours.  I've used Valium with success in the 1990s, propranolol helped enormously and Bachs rescue remedy mouth spray too.

Thank you for your reply. The surges r worse in the morning. The day ahead feels unmanageable. Ive been trying to cope but today was dreadful, couldn't face work. I havnt tried bach rescue remedy, I will look into that thank you. Ive been using cbd drops but not sure they do anything. Do u mean this forum has an online triage system or r u referring to ur surgery? I think mine has given up on me. I am trying to find info to help myself, looking into mindfulness and breathing techniques, just want to feel better.

Our GP Practice has the triage system.

It's The Change when our bodies do strange things!  Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use to chart progress and something to discuss with the GP.

Thats a good idea. I was very low in June and off work. Then started hrt and felt much better but now its worse than ever. Wondering if I need stronger hrt. I do have estrogen gel here, wonder whether to use that too. Wanted to discuss with doctor but as I said I cant get an appointment for weeks

Yes, it's likely to be from oestrogen deficiency, it was one of my worst symptoms. If it was me I'd add a pump of gel along with the patch. Might be worth keeping a diary so can see if it corresponds to when your own production is low.
