New formulation Estradot
« on: October 22, 2025, 04:15:26 AM »

Hello, I'm from New Zealand and we, a lot of women, are having issues here with Estradot patches. It seems there are faulty batches of all strengths. Medsafe NZ and Sandoz are investigating I have seen in this forum that last year there were also similar issues in the UK. I was wondering whether they have been investigated, reported on and resolved. Also, we have on our boxes " new formulation" . Somehow we also think this may have to do with the problems women have.  Is this New Formulation also on the boxes in the UK? Many thanks for any information!

Hi I was on Estrodot patches up until a few months ago when they became unavailable in the UK. I read online it was a supply shortage. However we aren’t really kept informed here as well as in other countries in my opinion. So it could well have been faulty batches and we just weren’t told. I don’t know if there is still a shortage as I’ve been switched over to anothet brand

I've got some Estradot 75s that I sourced privately in August, they don't say new formulation on them and they seem the same as the one's I'd had before.

There is a shortage in the UK but some private pharmacies seem able to supply.

I received my latest lot of Estradot last Friday. The expiry date is July 2026 but there is no mention of a new formula. There were problems with my first lot after the switch was made to Sandoz in that they didn't stay stuck on, but that was resolved and all the batches I've had since then stick really well.
