Exceptions around estradiol?

Hi ladies

the question is does anyone know if there are some women that are better off with a little more estradiol and less progesterone even though the protocol is that progesterone is needed for uterine protection.

As in, do doctors sometimes tailor this to the individual patient and monitor uterine health if giving more estradiol and less progesterone?

Today is the first day I've felt well across many areas of my body, I'm on evorel sequi and just finished the estradiol only phase.  Prolapse symptoms at a minimum, IBS at a minimum, energy higher.  But the combined patch negatively impacts all this, so 2 weeks ahead of not being 'well' again. 

I'm waiting for extra funds to arrange a private appointment at a menopause clinic.

It is possible to feel better during some parts of a cycle whether it's natural or with HRT.

If the norethisterone in evorel patches doesn't agree with you you can try a separate progestin via your GP.

Thanks CLKD, yes that's true.  It just seems that the progesterone leads to some unnecessary symptoms and I am wondering if I'd have had them without it.  Making an appointment with the Newson Clinic today.

Thanks Sheila99, atm our GP surgery is completely overwhelmed and not functioning well.  I've been told the choices are Mirena or Utrogestan.  I am contacting the Newson Clinic today as I imagine things could be better for me considering how well I function mid cycle (just before the combined patch take over).  I also want to have my testosterone levels looked at and I don't get the impression this was done in my recent blood test with the surgery, despite my request.

It might be worth another try of utrogestan as a higher dose estradiol can be taken with it than on evorel sequi.
