Not knowing what you're doing
KaraShannon:
Does anyone else get this?
I am trying to settle down for the night but face is flushed and I don't seem to know what I'm doing. I know if I change my patch there won't be a problem anymore, I'll calm down, settle, flushing will go away, but the patch was only put on yesterday. The one prior to that lasted the full 4 days. This one seems a bit 'bumpy' to the touch but is stuck on well.
Does anyone else get these feelings if coming to the end of a patch or possibly wearing one that's not stuck on too well?
Feelings like knowing what I need to do and then not doing it, forgetting (not like me). Example I have two lots of medication to take at night, 1 hour apart, and yet I took all evening to take the first lot so now I have to wait another hour before I can get to bed. All I can say is it kept going out of my head.
Reluctant to change the patch that was only put on yesterday, it's so hard to get them from the gp and it is wasteful, but from experience this happens and a change seems to be all that's needed.
Minusminnie:
It sounds like ‘routine fatigue’ to me.

If you're finding this happens regularly perhaps gel or spray would suit you better? Or you could try taping the patches down.

I changed the patch and was fine after a short while. I do have a lot of routines though, do you mean just that, exhausted with running through routines? Probably a part of it but this is usually a sign I've forgotten to change a patch so I know to some extent it's lack of hormone working somehow. Fine today.

thanks, worth considering. I did change it in the end and as usual all those symptoms stopped. I think it might have been unattached in the middle even though stuck down properly at sides so giving the impression it was ok.
