This contains NUTS! although there is no warning on the packet other than in small writing on the back of the packet 

Who should I write to ?  I thought that all products had to declare in clear letters 'this may contain nuts' or 'has been manufactured in an area which may have nuts'

I think that as with other allergens it should be in slightly bigger or bolder print in the ingredients list. I don't think that it has to specifically say Contains Nuts elsewhere on the packaging.

The other Cadburys packages have 'fruit and nuts' etc. on the front .......... I grabbed and ate, so was surprised and shocked how badly signed this is, yes it's on the back but I didn't look

That's my argument.  It's not even an English product, made in Sweden in the 1950s. 

If some1 has macular degeneration or other sight problems ..........

I was going to say the same. It should be up to the person to check ingredients, not the manufacturer to point out one of many possible allergens. If the print is tiny I take a pic and enlarge it

However: if some1 has bad eye sight ....... with all the litigation that has taken place after people have died due to the small print being too small, one would believe that Cadburys would at least put a warning on the front.  It's not enough for a Company to tell the buyer 'U have to read the small print'.  Imagine if a child had grabbed and ran?

Child may not be able to read so a warning wouldn't help. I agree there is (way too much) litigation but people need to take responsibility. Also if they warn about nuts they should also warn about soy, lactose, and these days 93 other potential risks, probably including cocoa!

Thing is clkd,there seems to be SOOOOO many allergies these days and companies can only do so much, they would get sued left right and centre if they didn't have the listed ingredients, if I'm not sure (or can't see the print) I just don't buy

I saw someone doing it once and thought it was brilliant, and it's been so useful

Well although enjoying this particular chocolate it's not 4 me as it's caused that irritating clearing throat cough  but I will be finishing the bar

I can't tolerate almonds clkd,they make me sick and for me also being gf I've always to check things are made with almond flour,blimey it's a minefield out there
