I have had bleeding for months off and on, several times every month, usually spotting but occassionally heavier. I was refered under 2 week pathway and had a scan. Ive just had the follow up appointment. My scan showed a lining of 2mm so ver healthy, some small fibroids (they weren't concerned with and nothing else).

The dr gave me a thorogh examination manually and used a torch and a spectrum to look at the cervix. She said everything looked very healthy and she had no concerns. She says she could see evidence of bleeding.

I haven't had a smear for 4 years as I'm now on the 5 year screening but she said the cervix looked healthy.

So my question is do I just put up with it, or tweak my HRT which she said she would wrirte to my doctor about?  I am very concerned about this and reluctant to change as my vaginal / bladder symptoms aren't great and I still have flushes despite the HRT.

Your scan is within normal limits
Do U use appropriate vaginal atrophy treatment on a regular basis, i.e. every night if necessary?
If the Nurse is satisfied with the condition of your cervix i.e. very healthy then mayB discuss your worries with your Doctor to C if there is an update from the Nurse.

Sometimes our hormones may over ride an HRT regime so your treatment may require a hike.  Let us know how you get on.
