I've read today about a top level swimmer in the US who came joint 5th to a man.  She was gold that the man (trans) would be 5th, she had to accept the 6th place.  Now this trans person is being put forward for the best swimmer of the year.

But why?? What reason can they possibly have for not allowing them to be joint 5th?

Pandering to the trans man wanting to swim against the real women, he was something like 500-sh in the US so decided that he could win by 'becoming a woman' - my query was why go down beyond 3rd anyway  .... after all, 1 person wins what ever the Sport.

Well,here's a new one, a Scottish museum has said calling mummies mummies,is dehumanising and they should now be called mummified person.
