Kneading is therapeutic  8)

Not a lot - yet.

Sorted kitchen, wiped down surfaces etc.
Watered 4 chilly plants
Sprayed the air plants

Light lunch to hand ready for MotoGP racing to start  8)

Thought mum's food shopping was pricier than normal this morning. 🤔. Checked the receipt and had been charged twice for pack of 3 kitchen roll. - £15!😲.  Apart from being shocked at the price of "Plenty kitchen roll", the assistant seemed to view it as a normal part of her job to tell me in a bored tone that my card would be credited in a day or two - no apology or anything. Customer Service is, largely, gone  :(
Taking mum for afternoon tea today. Her first proper day out for many weeks. I can sense her anxiety but hopefully she'll enjoy 😉

Simply can't get the staff these days  >:(.  Good job that you checked!

Enjoy your afternoon with your Mum. I'm sure that once she arrives she'll feel less anxious.  If necessary she can cancel !

Well, hubby said “if your mum decides to cancel, just pop along and get 2 carry out afternoon teas for thee and me instead” 🥴.  Ever the pragmatist  ;D

None of ours missed each other, they saw the bodies every time ........ whereas our 2 ginger toms in the 1970s, 1 was very stand offish until his brother was run over: then for the next 9 days he was really fussy.

I've taken the bathroom apart: not literally, but have scrapped the lime scale off the hot bath tap  :o with lots of lime scale remover and elbow grease.  Light lunch partaken of.  Laundry sorted. Have to collect the car later  :-\ but it's stopped raining which will help.

Oh the wee lass will be fine Jaypo. She'll just ignore you for a day or two  ;D
I have to say I'm glad a review is going on regarding vets fees. I've never understood the justification for the huge amounts we pay out for vets bills 😳.  I have always ensured all of our dogs have received the treatment they have needed over the years but I've struggled to understand the high prices in general..
I've just dropped the cockapoo off for his groom. He always smells beautiful when he comes back but he surfs the carpet trying to get rid of the scent  ;D ;D

;D. our JR would pull her newly laundered blankets from the line, drag them through the mud then roll on them

I was going to begin a new thread about Vet fees etc..

Hopefully he won't be too weary later jillydoll!  So good for self esteem - there will probably be emotional ups and downs for a while as you both find your feet.   :tulips2: :tulips:

Collected the car.  PHEW!
