In France sat by a pool after stuffing myself at breakfast and lunch. Really want to join the weight gain thread, but would be embarrassed to until Wednesday 🙈

Oh my goodness Sarah - I'm like a poisoned pup  ;D. Just couldn't resist the scones and traybakes 🍰  :o
Mum's doing OK.  Thanks so much for asking.  :foryou: She's still awaiting word for her pacemaker. She's definitely feeling anxiety about the procedure (understandably) but she is so fatigued these days that she's also strangely looking forward to getting it done..

I always find scones dry unless made by a friend ........  :-\ so I'll stick to the jam and cream please  :D

Watched MotoGP, slept for 2 hours; looked at the weather and decided against removing more of a shrub due to it dripping.  A lot  ;D

Penguin must you make us feel so bad? Had the woodburner on for the second day running and there you dipping you tootsies in the warm  pool. Only thing we have in common is I am avoiding the weight gain thread too... Anniversary and Birthday all in the space of three days. That means real food, no light fat stuff and so inactive, putting feet up all day. Bliss.
A bientot x

Lol the pool was freezing, I didn't go in. Hubby did, said it fresh. Nope it wasn't, it was unheated and cold. I stayed on the lounger and laughed 😅

Hmm. Why does that sound like the type of thing I would do?! Fresh my arse. I bet he was bloody frozen but being too much of a man to admit it.

Have a lovely break

No wonder the Royal Mail is going out of business, it's threatening not to deliver on Sats as well!

In the garden, driven inside by the hot  :sunny:  :sweatdrop:  got a lot done!

Is that not aquatic cruelty? a majestic ( slightly scary) sea creature forced into housework slavery. Shame on you. ;D
