Also slides were mis-interpreted early on   >:(.    So she was told it was OK when the tumour was growing  :'(

Sorry  :-X ....... checked and I am incorrect.  However, cervical cancer isn't always terminal though.  Many years ago I met a lady who had undergone removal of the whole vaginal area with no chemo as it wasn't available then.

Youíre totally right Shadyglade,
If we donít think itís right, then we should go back, and back again, but unfortunately,
most of us put our faith in these Docs and just take what they say, after all , theyíre the Professionals.
However, I think youíve got to be THAT certain type of person, who asks questions, and challenges what they say, and like most people, they donít...they except what the Professional says..........xx

As well as when we feel ill it is hard work to keep pushing.  When depressed it was all I could do to get out of bed.

Exactly CLKD.....
I nearly always ask questions, even if I come across as thick, I donít care, Iím not medically trained, so therefore I donít care, BUT like you say, if meno brain kicks in, or depression, or the dreaded anxiety, then it does become all too much to keep pushing......

Feel good after a walk in lovely  :sunny: - 11 in our car  :o after -5 last week  :D.  Feet up.  Burner on.  New books to read ......

Hello ladies.

I agree that we have to be pro active about our healthcare but of course it is difficult when feeling unwell and worried.

Just before Christmas last year I wondered if feeling tired, anxious etc was all down to the menopause so I saw a GP and we discussed all the other possibilities. It seems that my diagnosis of Ulcerative Colitis along with a low iron level may be a contributing factor and I'm now in the process of raising my iron levels and arranging for them to be re tested. In many ways I hope that anaemia is at  the root of everything because that is likely to be easy to fix. If I hadn't seen that particular doctor I'm not sure that my case would have been reviewed in such detail.

Wishing everyone well.

K.

Muttering.  We have been away for a while so chores are piling up.  Himself has looked through his messages then sat beside me to see what I'm up to  >:(.  Apparently doesn't want the lap-top but seems aimless so I've put him to work.

He was reading over my shoulder one evening earlier in the week, it makes me WILD - I don't read his messages  :-\ - if he starts checking what I'm up to I'll buy my own lap-top!

So muttering.  Under my breath thus far .........
