I had breakfast about 40 mins ago- forgot again, but I am still hungry, not sure what lunch is going to be  :)

Why thank you!  It's supposed to be holding fair but since the Test Match started today at Headingley (30 mins from where I live) who knows???

yours sounds nicer than mine CLKD, I had pasta with grated cheese, then had to go to the bank & the newsagents & a twix jumped into my hand, so I had to buy it & eat that as well  ;D
It's hopeless trying to arrange anything when cricket or tennis are on the go isn't it? Fingers crossed for you though  :)

I forgot to have any brunch or lunch and can't be bothered to do anything for tea at the minute. There are times when I really miss  my mum - to walk up the garden path after a day at school or work and smell a dinner cooking was "home" to me. I know that I provided the same feelings for my sons but it wouldn't half be nice to sit down to one of her specials again  :)

I love watching the Ashes Jules, you are so lucky being so close to a test match. I would love to go along & see a match.

I hope the weather holds out for your BBQ. I'll be watching it over the weekend to see if it has been delayed because of rain.

It's sunny and warm here.  Hubby has washed the bedroom carpet having Man-handled divan and mattress into the garage ready for FREECYCLE! I can smell the carpet cleaner down the street  ;D

I have kept out of the way  ;) - 2nd load of washing is on the line, dishwasher now on a short cycle before 3rd load of laundry needs to go in ...........

It's hot here today  :sunny: I was out of bed early & I have hoovered the house top to bottom (that's 2 weeks in a row now!)
Then I made bread  :)
I have also done 3 loads of washing, the 3rd went out onto the line 1/2 hour ago.
I didn't sleep very well last night, had 3 :hotflash: but luckily didn't 'sweat' Had another 4 after I got up!!
Feeling tired now & still have low back ache, but never mind, the sun is still shining  :)

Warm and muggy.  Hubby has helped load the divan/mattress, has dug over the very smelly pullet run, has pruned and shredded ....... I've hung out and taken in washing, fed the chooks, fed the pond fish, helped the neighbour with her washing ........

List for tomorrow:  set cuttings into compost; clean pullets and chooks, top up water; find MOT cert for both vehicles and check dates of same; Hoover; write weekly letters; lunch; wash hair ............

Have to cut the back lawn today. Did the front yesterday. I foolishly volunteered to look after my neighbours lawns while he's away for 7 weeks but I didn't bank on all this rain and it just won't stop growing!!!  >:( Me and my big mouth.  :-X

I seem to be cutting flippin grass every other day. I'm sick of the sight of it  >:(
I'm not showering till I've done it cos the lawn's on a slope and I get absolutely drenched in sweat  :sweatdrop:
Still it might shift a few of those extra pounds I've put on since I started guzzling Poppins's dairy free ice cream  ;)

kettle's on  ;)  - I've been taking cuttings of fuschias and pink cystus, found a black 'grass' hidden in the undergrowth so put that into a bright blue pot; lots++ of lavender cuttings still to pot as well as tiny foxglove plants .. slugs got the last lot  >:( so need to keep these out of reach  ::)

Time for a cuppa me thinks ...........
