I absolutely feel devastated when I see people breaking the rules as I do everyday from my house. It is making me so mad. People having friends round and bending rules all the time.
My daughter is a vet and the other is a wholefood shop manager and together they are on the front line of this outbreak risking their lives everyday. The same people who break the rules in my street clap for the NHS on Thursdays. Meanwhile those of us who follow the rules are lonely but are actually seeing the bigger picture, the one that saves lives.

Vets aren't working except for emergencies, some in Wales are applying to the Government  :-X.  My friend can't get her puppy jabbed because it's not an emergency  >:(.  So he can't go to socialise ........ but we are told that they have to be jabbed!

We don't know if people are breaking rules.  We went to a store today and the Staff weren't moving out of the way! but we managed to keep a distance.  I have always objected that the shelves are re-filled in the day time.  They block up the aisles at the best of times.  DH tried to get items but the member of staff was shopping with a list for someone 'shielding/isolating'.  Again, that should be done after hours?  No gloves, no masks seen today.

We also upset the guard on the door, as we were chatting to each other in the queue :o.  We have a list each, DH buys fruit, veg and anything he requires to keep me fed, I do the cake, shampoo, laundry powder etc..  She 'warned' us both not to be seen shopping together.  Wasn't interested in finding out why and how, "We get told that people are in families all the while, we turned people away earlier".  Calling me a liar then!?! so I told her that we can go to Tesco ...... we have done most of our shopping in the village apart from hi-end items.

There is no 1-way system in the store.  I think there was initially  :-\ ........ but can't remember that far back  :D  I finished first today  ;D.  But the guard wasn't there  >:(  ::)

It's a bit of a worry who found out though  :-\ ......... Big Brother!  I think he should have resigned as soon as the story hit the headlines!

Did you see the guy on the news, who was being interviewed by a reporter and was saying,oh I think we should be much stricter in this country like Spain and he was standing there with a bottle of beer in his hand with all his mates at a crowded  beach  ;D

He was seen by his families neighbours.

What is particularly insulting is that his wife, wrote about their covid experiences, and gave the distinct impression that they were in London at the time.

Cheeky buggers.

Always 1 Rule for them ..........

It will be interesting to see whether F1 push the current Government into letting them into the UK without having to isolate for 2 weeks.  This morning's news says 'no' but Silverstone Management are whittering on and on and ........... the F1 community want to by-pass the isolation period and are trying to make all kinds of promises about isolating Teams, keeping Teams apart, using separate coaches 4 each Team - but as far as I can see, many UK Coach companies are out of business anyway!  One to watch ;-)

If you read the story on the web-news pages, it would appear that he hasn't contravened those rules at the time.  But the National Press jumped on what might not be a headline after all  ::)

I don't think that's true.

For a start if you have the virus you are not supposed to leave home.

It will be very interesting to see if any members of the public have been find/spoken too, for the same thing.

Not true that DC hadn't contravened rules. Although he was already ill with Covid, he had still left home and travelled over 200 miles...... and had then come into contact with his other family members in Durham.

And did he not stop to use the loo or get a drink, do we think?  >:(  Whether he actually broke a "law " is secondary to the arrogance of a man who thinks he can do as he wishes, confident that he has the complete back up of the party. As he said, showing his true colours, it doesnt matter what we think. He must have something really big over Boris.. ;)
