You would have to eat a LOT for cooked foods to make any difference.  However, it is known that BarBQs have carcinogens ......

Ok, how about this..

Roasted carrots, parsnips, potatoes, shallots and garlic, mashed potato, cauliflower with a mustard white sauce (vegan), brocolli, veg gravy and red currant jelly. Ooohh!!
It's that time of year! 😊😉

This weekend I'm trying to make my own breakfast bars because if any of you are like me and can't tolerate oats,wheat or nuts you're pretty stuffed with off the shelf ones,they're made with quinoa flakes,butter or vegan marg and banana,apparently you just mix them altogether put on a baking tray and refrigerate for an hour or so,you can add whatever you want to them,vanilla,desiccated coconut,raisins or chocolate chips,I've never used quinoa FLAKES before and had to order them from Amazon apparently they're like an oat substitute but we'll see :o

Whether vegan or not or just wanting to take steps to reduce animal intake.. I have found this lady doing really amazing recipes.

Elavegan.com

If you scroll down her page you?ll see one for German Schupfnudel. I made it and they are absolutely lovely. I?ll be making them again and they?re very easy.  :)

Not sure if I mentioned these before but they are the best vegan sausages I have found so far. A company called VegiDeli.

Really nice with French green lentils/onion/garlic etc.

No I haven't tried those ones Jaypo. I'd be interested to try them though. I will get to a Tesco soon and have a look what they have. There are so many more vegan products appearing which is great. Have you tried the new Helmans vegan mayonnaise?

Meat aisle!!  ::)

Not sure about vegan mayo,have you tried it? I only love Hellman's
Oh oh and richmonds (veggie or vegan not sure tbh) sausages are lovely too,I hate when a product has overpowering herbs(usually sage,which I hate) to compensate for it's lack of taste,just a cop out but yes things are getting better,been veggie 27 years,I've not had long to wait to get decent food  ;D ;D

Hi Jaypo I have not tried the Helmans vegan mayo yet but I have tried others. I looked for it in Sainsbury's but could not find it. Hopefully they will have it soon. I will try for sure. The other vegan mayo I have tried are really good.
I will look out for those sausages. Have you tried Cauldron sausages. I like them too.

Sorry I missed your post about breakfast bars. Have you tried naked bars. They are really good although I think most of the flavours have nuts. Is it all nuts that you can not tolerate?

I make my own too, but with oats, dates, walnuts, cocoa nibs etc. It's just finding the best ingredients to suit you. Dates are great for sweetening. I simmer in water and cinnamon and then mash down to a paste and mix with ingredients.. x

I did try and make them Jari but yuk  ;D I do keep away from nuts and wheat but can tolerate a small amount,also oats can cause me issues,so I'm kind of stuck tbh when it comes to  real fast bars, I love dates though,great tip,thanks,maybe make the quinoa flakes taste a bit better   ;D 🤢🤢
