We did a trip to Southern California at Easter time when the kids were small. It's usually lovely then but they were experiencing the worst weather in memory! We had to buy warm clothing when there and had cold soggy days at Knottsberry Farm, and Universal Studios. The kids swam in the heated pools in the rain which they thought was great fun especially when 'pool room service' was brought by staff under umbrellas.
